electrum-xvg wallet problem

I am using the electrum xvg wallet, but recently it is not connecting to the network anymore, so I am unable to move my funds.
Does anyone have had this problem before and has any suggestions how to fix this problem?

I check the latest release and it is pretty outdated (2017), but your problem is probably in server/s you try to connect. What you can try is to manually change the server by following these simple instructions : How to switch to a different Electrum server

As an alternative solution, you can try importing your seed/private keys into another wallet, but if I were you I would be very careful not to download anything that is not listed on the official site.
