FortuneJack and their KYC - I do not recommend

Hello!
I would like to describe you my short story with FortuneJack.
I created account and deposited 1 ZEC (about 5 mbtc) and won about 7/8 mbtc.
And here we start our story with withdrawal issue.

FortuneJack request from me ID or passport via e-mail to process withdrawal... It's not safe procedure in my opinion at all. I don't know even who will have access to this documents...

They don't want return my deposit without KYC...

For everybody who play bitcoin gambling I do not recommend FortuneJack. You can loose not only your wining but deposit as well. I just have to loose 5 mbtc of my deposit to keep my privacy safe. I guess that a lot of people play bitcoin gambling to safe privacy.... not with FortuneJack!

Before starting gambling there, you must have read their Terms and Conditions where they have clearly mentioned that they may require KYC anytime they want. Therefore, I see nothing wrong with that as they have coded the terms. You agreed with their terms and condition while registering, didn't you? Why without a read?

I sympathize with op because casinos have been using this trick quite often to confiscate winnings obtained by players in a legit manner. They use the hidden T&C rule to their advantage and this is not the first time I have observed FJ using this trick.

I honestly don't see the advantage gained by a gambler when it comes to multi-accounting. If they were arbing, the funds need to be returned to the player and the account should be limited or closed. This is unfair behavior towards the op in my opinion.

^ Definitely right, Op did not even read these house rules before using this platform. You should know this first before having a deposit to them. This is not a trick of them, only players/users who dumb and did not read first the FAQ and TOS. That was clearly on their website stated. Nevertheless, OP you are not the one who is claiming this issue. If that is a big amount, there's nothing you can do is to have KYC verification. Is there something to hide?

Majority of the sites are using this feature, they will ask for your KYC when you start winning and wants to withdraw the funds.

Majority of the sites are offering promotions and there will be people trying to game the system to take undue advantage using multi accounts and hence it is not acceptable if they have taken the bonus and started winning in multiple accounts.

I agree with that but why they don't want to return deposit? They loose nothing.


I have not read terms and that's the reason why I want to make it clear to other people: don't play on FortuneJack if you want to keep your privacy and not loose wining or deposit.

The requirements that exist on the FJ site I think are very clear and I must admit that the FJ in this case provides an opportunity for players before using their site to consider the applicable provisions. If the OP passes this provision without considering it, problems will arise if you object to the terms or rules that apply to certain sites.

If you have made a decision and accepted the terms before you make a deposit then you must follow the procedures in force there and you will no longer protest what you have fully agreed to. But after you are accused of cheating by using multiple accounts to play on the site, then you must prove that you are innocent by following the KYC procedure. What is the harm, but of course you will consider privacy and all kinds of risks.

I think sites use Kyc to their advantage as far as being able to withhold withdraws but in most cases they're probably right.

It states in their terms 1 account per household. As you stated, people will try to game the system by claiming multiple bonuses from multiple accounts. Why should they pay you on 1 account of you lost on 20 others?

These types of users broke the rules and shouldn't be paid.

Now, if you're a legit player with 1 account you should have no issue providing kyc if you wish to cash out your winnings. Read the T&C before depositing to a site before you decide to deposit. If you like anonymous playing, then do not deposit to a casino that requires kyc.

Not reading the TOS isn't an excuse.

It's clear that FJ detected you for having multiple accounts, therefore, you need to comply with what they are told you to do.

And the fact that it's fine for you to just have the deposit back just to avoid KYC means you really did something against the terms.

Up to you to decide, comply with the KYC or leave the site and move on.

They need to actually win and satisfy all the wagering requirements in order to withdraw their bonus winnings(Casino or sportsbook) which is difficult clearly and it is a lot tougher to pull off with multiple accounts which is why the advantage gained by multi-accounting is pretty small here.

FJ has been pretty shady based on what I have heard lately which is why I don't completely trust them here.

How are they going to check that your account is related to your ID to prove you as the owner though?  confusing...

The ignorance of yours is not an excuse to the rules.

Take it as a lesson learned if you ever will play again in other gambling casino that to read first the TOS and follow the rules, so you would not end up in this situation again.
