I’ll second that as I remember very well that even when Mourinho treated him badly he didn’t do any drama, simply turned up for training and he quietly left Real Madrid after all those glorious years.

Precisely a call to Real Madrid has not been mentioned. The idea is being formed to gather, as Iker says, the mythical ones of years ago and play a Vintage Classic. Perhaps in an interview, he'll give to the Champions League, he'll mention something about it.

The translation is a bit clumsy, that's right. What is meant is "legends from back then". What he is talking about is a match between Barcelona and Real Madrid. The games between these two teams were very competitive at the beginning of the 2000s with legendary players like Ronaldhino, Xavi, Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and of course David Beckham.

That is a great option and I think all other countries can do the same in their own leagues by playing the strongest derby with some of the strongest players the teams have had in recent history.It is also a great idea to donate the winnings of such games to the people in need.Truly a great gesture by the greatest goalkeeper of all time in my opinion for Real Madrid.

Despite that I'm Barcelona fan, Casillas, together with Raul always been my most respected Real Madrid players. He is amazing  goalkeeper and great personality.
Such vintage Clasico sound like a great. It would bring us great memories about amazing El Clasico matches that we had in previous years with all legends of Barca and Real Madrid. Charity is also very important and needed in these times and such game would let us to forget about all problems for 2 hours. Now we only have to hope that this nightmare will end soon...
And sad that Ronaldinho probably won't be able to play in this game.

Honestly they do these "old school players game" time to time but I haven't really seen too much of that recently (not recently recently, I haven't seen a regular game recently as well:D, I mean this whole year). With corona gone and all of these people really wanting to go out and play as well, because they have been stuck for a long time and would want a big bang to get all the jitters out, I think it could actually be a league concept.

Not something huge, not a big one, maybe even futsal type of small place instead of a huge regular pitch, but think about 8 on 8 and 5-6 teams, that could very well happen. In NBA there is BIG3 that allows old school basketball players to continue playing, maybe we need something like that for football as well? Wouldn't you love to watch 40+ stars play football again?

To be honest, the classic vintage charity match will indeed be fun-filled and fulfilling; i hope the pandemic ends soon and every one across the world gets supported one way or the other.
