It dosent happen like this Everytime. Probably there is a loop hole that could expose then. Which might be the reason.

Yeah, It is very strange. In fact, it is the first time I heard a hacker return the funds, I guess there is so many scenarios behind it and we don't know. Maybe someone hired a hacker just to test their platform on how good is the website security, all we can do is speculate. Well, everything that comes to the computer and programming and stuff can be penetrated by humans because it was made by a human so its possible that the hacker made a mistake and lead it right back at him. It is a good thing that all funds are returned.
There is nothing much to speculate as the hacker knew that the authorities had all his information to get him behind bars, the hacker forwarded the heist because he knew that his IP address is exposed because he messed up trying to cash out the funds through a centralized exchange without hiding his IP and now his IP address is submitted to the Singapore police and so is the reason we are hearing for the first time that a hacker returned the funds.

Recently, there was a hack amounting more or less $25 Million Dollar, that is a huge amount and a big loss. But just now, it looks like the hacker return all the funds in full. I commend them for tracing the hacker and the hacker return the funds in full you can see all transaction on Etherscan. Here is the link: https://etherscan.io/tokentxns?a=0xa9bf70a420d364e923c74448d9d817d3f2a77822 I hope all hacks can be trace like this one so that hackers will never attempt anymore.
Wow thats nice, I am just curious how did the hackers return the money or tokens worth of 25million? Did FBI just track its location and those thieves got scared that they were arrested? If thats the case then its good. There should be a way to track down all these people and bypass their way to hide their identity. Its not good that every hacks like these happened cause once they dump it on the market surely it will be affected due to massive price drop from selling it.

If you had read few comments before replying you would have easily known how the funds were returned back to the exchange. It was the Singapore police tha did this job.

Why he returned money?
Because it was stolen money so they returned it, indeed refunds to the cryptocurrency world were very rare except for refunds for investors made by the project, I think this is worth doing because $ 25 million is a lot of money.

It's good the fund was refunded, this will help keep some community members, and atlest the dream of the project won't fold up. I hope they take all security issues seriously and not delay in any updates.

it's a good news how ever not all of the attempt will ever know who's the hacker will be, that's a large amount their lucky to know who's the hacker, but that's scenario  is not always happen that's why more of them Wil continue stolen money . If the hackers is professional  enough they are now know/learn how to make it more secure in them like what most scammers do when they scam peoples money without  a trace.
