I saw it somewhere else during the day. The main subject of this business is bitcointalk.org. such a project benefits bitcointalk.org and its members.

Quote
Reddit, the social media platform, which is among the top 20 most visited sites in the world, presented two tokens to its users so that users on the platform can receive awards for their contribution to the content.

These two tokens were named MOONS and BRICKS. It was stated that these tokens will be given exclusively to / r / FortniteBR and / r / Cryptocurrency members as the new initiative of Reddit called "Community Points". The Vault page has been launched, where members can manage these tokens and access them for detailed information. These two tokens were issued with Ethereum's ERC-20 standard.

What do you think about such a project? should it be?

Why should bitcointalk.org make a bunch of altcoins to give away to users? There are already bounty threads for that.

Are all this not enough?

If another of the "Community Points" gets added then we are headed for more drama and divisions among members like what we saw when the merit system was introduced

drama already exists. Here, both the visitors to the site increase and members benefit.

Why is there merit? this will be a reward unique to bitcointalk.org.

Merit on bitcointalk is like karma on reddit, neither of them have benefit as you can't trade them for real money. My point was that using a spendable token to reward posts here is redundant, since in bounty threads you can do some work to get spendable tokens. Besides, enabling members to reward each other with money could open up a door to token selling where sellers pay others with these tokens, and to receive them the buyers make shitposts to allow the sellers to "reward" (actually transacting) the post with tokens, and this will increase spam here.

I think we should think more freely. all other sites also have shitpost! If bitcointalk.org's number of members, number of visitors, and recognition will increase, some risks should be taken into consideration.

Forum bir noktada Amerikan yasalarına bağlı ve finansal bir karşılığı olacak hiçbir token ve benzeri teknolojinin entegre edilmesi gündemde olmayacaktır. Geçmişte theymos'a buna benzer öneriler yapılmıştı.

Soon™ Smiley

Quote
At some point, the forum will not be on the agenda of integrating any tokens and similar technologies that are subject to American law and have a financial equivalent. In the past, theymos had made similar suggestions.

If we answer the topic, Bitcointalk has invested in new forum software for the benefit of the entire internet world, not only for its members. When it is finished, it will be a gift to all humanity. Don't ask when it will end. Soon ™ Smiley
