List of merchants and companies that accepts Ethereum

Hey guys,

I wanted to share with you all a curated list of some of the interesting examples of merchants, brands and companies that accept Ethereum or ETH and ERC20 tokens as a payment method.

Now paying with Ether isn't perhaps as obvious as paying with Bitcoin. Since Ethereum and the Ether cryptocurrency is not instantly thought of as a P2P digital currency. And also yes there fewer merchants that accept ETH compared to BTC!
But anyway we thought it might be interesting to highlight some of the example brands and merchants that do accept ETH as a payment method.

If not to spread the adoption of cryptocurrencies and Ethereum, then just for fun!

And a question for the Ethereum fans on here - have you spent your ETH on something? Besides paying for gas that is? It could be for a dApp, or as a payment method for a non-blockchain service or product!

I have used Ethereum for buying the pre-paid card in Astro Pay once and it also accepts BTC, XRP, and BCH along with the ETH which is a cool way to spend some cryptos indirectly.

Well, can't deny that you have a surprising list there but you need to look for another list and see what's the difference and what you are lacking.

I think the problem here is that there are still very few altcoin specific merchants who want to accept payments. For Bitcoin you have many types of payment processors like bitpay, so people don't have to worry about settlement. The only hope is to ask BTC accepting merchants and processors to also accept ETH.

Checked the list and there's nothing I would like to buy there or that I could buy cheaply being in Asia. Good list though.

You would able to see merchants around the globe that do accept various alts into their establishment and also this one includes atm machines nearby.

Its good to see for a global adoption not only focusing in Btc alone but also on other alts as well but as anticipated this will always target out on
top ranking alts.

thanks for this . its true i rarely see a merchant that accept eth but mostly btc  , fiat and credit card only  . as we see they mostly support major/popular payment methods  . maybe eth isnt really that mainstream compare to btc  but in the future i think both of them will be given importance as a shopping tool . i still prefer eth at all compare to btc or just any other alts because they are fast and less fees but because of lack of support for major shopping sites i refrain to use them for now
