Ethereum Merge is live — what does this mean for altcoins and the market?

Ethereum Merge finally happened, and the network has switched from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake. This is a huge deal — way lower energy use and hopefully better scalability down the line.

I’m curious how you think this will affect the wider altcoin market. Will projects built on Ethereum benefit the most? Or will we see some smaller L1s and L2s steal the spotlight? Also wondering if this will bring new investor confidence and push prices up across the board.

Ethereum moved from PoW to PoS since 2022, but you are posting about it in 2025 as if is something new.
