here is the twist of the situation:
Bibox do the refund in Binance Hot Wallet,
and now Binance wants to take me 0.005 BTC, $65 of fees to put my money in my wallet.

I ask them for a rebate of fee, which is not proportionate to the amount of money. Imagine pay 65$ to have 100$.

PD: Bibox is not a scam. they kept their word.

Good to hear that they did a refund.

Now the twist goes to the $65 fee on Binance. I can't imagine how the fee was that much and they're asking for it. Do they have any given reason why the fee they're asking you went that much?

Dear user,

Thanks for your inquiry.

Based on the record, your current deposit has not been credited due to the fact that the funds were sent to Binance hot wallet.

Given your situation, please provide us with a video of the withdrawal record. Please make sure the video shows your whole login process from the sender platform, website URL, and withdrawal records such as transaction ID, coin, amount and date.

The video size should not exceed 20 Mb if you wish to submit an attachment in the ticket. You can also upload your video to your private confidential drive and provide us the available link to watch or download your video. And please do not use the screen recoder to shoot the video.

Also, considering the time and effort involved in manual retrieval, we will require a processing fee. The processing fee should be 0.005 BTC. If you agree with the retrieval fee, please keep at least 0.005BTC in your Binance account for fee deduction. We will conduct the retrieval process as soon as we received your confirmation.

Let us know how you would like to proceed. Once we receive your screenshot and video, and confirmation about the fee, we will escalate and return your funds to you as soon as possible. They will help to retrieve the deposit to your Binance account within 3 working days.

Thank you for your understanding and looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,
Binance Support Team

~snip~
Is this really legit from Binance support? they are not asking you to send to any random address but only want you to leave that amount on your Binance wallet. That's too much to ask if they want to help their user retrieve a fund.

I don't know why they are requiring you to pay that much fee if you're only getting not that much from that error. What are you planning then? The fee is going to eat most of your balance instead of getting it. I'm not familiar with this encounter from Binance.  Undecided

  Hello,

Thank you for answering, in response to your request:
"please provide us with a video of the withdrawal record. Please make sure the video shows your whole login process from the sender platform":
Binance is the sender, I sent the REP from Binance, do I have to make a video in my Binance account?

"The processing fee should be 0.005 BTC. If you agree with the retrieval fee, please keep at least 0.005BTC"
Bibox took me less than 5$, and you are asking me 60$ to refund 100$. It seems unproportional, could you have a gesture please, is it possible to pay less than that?

Thank you for your answers,

Sincerly,

Mathias,

Hi,

Thank you, here is the Transaction picture, I don't know if it's safe to put the complete number, sorry, I'm still new.

Completely safe. The only issue some people have is they would like some privacy because transaction IDs can be viewed by anyone in the public and they can know how much you transferred but nobody can retrieve any money from your addresses

It would have been unfair if they charged you that amount because the problem was partly due to the withdrawal process in their exchange. Glad to know that your issue got solved.

yes it's also true, normally an exchange does not allow you to put a bad address.
