We at x42 Protocol (x42.tech) are looking for a reputable marketing person with experience to run a marketing campaign focused on attracting new investors to our project.

x42 has been around since 2018 and just a couple days ago we launched our biggest product yet, which is essentially a fully decentralized server system that supports payments and price locks (similar to bitpay).

We would like to find someone who can run us an efficient and effective marketing campaign here on bitcointalk and other cryptocurrency forums and social medias. Other ideas are also welcome.

Seems your platform and coin are listed on three exchanges although there is no trading volume. So do you want to advertise your platform on the forum? If so, then the most likely signature campaign would help you to spread the word about your platform. I am not sure if you want to run a promotion with BTC or your own coin. Signature campaigns on the forum can be just a piece of serious effective marketing campaign. Advertising in users signature space will help to gain some brand recognition rather than other guerillas direct marketing, which will bring a quick ^{and short} result.
OP also thinking about other forum and social media promotions. To be honest, most of the SM campaigns run here are worth nothing. Reposts or likes from fake SM accounts, do not bring a special result for the owner.

OP, before running any marketing campaign, you must first to do hard research and define a strategy. For now, you want a private discussion on PM or Discord, sounds like you want some advice for free.

Promoting using this forum may be profitable if the campaigns last for long periods and include trusted individuals. Therefore, if you want to start a promotional campaign, you should think about it in the medium or long term (6 months to a year).
I don't think promoting altcoins will be useful. Choose a reliable manager and pay an appropriate rate (from $ 50 to $ 100 per account/week).

Agree that signature campaigns are the only good way to get traction on this forum in terms of awareness. Provided you run it well and hire good posters who post in the relevant sub-sections (which I guess would be altcoins or services).

Otherwise, you manually identify people to carry the logo and signature, and you get seen in the places they're active in already.

To be honest, I agree with @examplens. Running social media campaign wouldn't bring much attention from real users what you are expecting. It's quite easy to buy a social media account and spam there. Since your platform isn't like ICO or IEO, so I don't think it would be useful for you. But yes, perhaps it would increase SEO or visibility over the internet.

If you are expecting quick visitors to your platform then I will suggest choosing a PTC platform. But if you are looking for potential crypto users then the signature campaign is the right advertisement. Of course, you can't expect a quick response as well, users wouldn't jump so quick on any platform. When a banner reflects for a quite long time on the forum, then users would move slowly to your platform. Now it's your choice. Don't forget that all users of the forum are somehow related to crypto.

Anyway everyone has their own advertising strategies. If you are looking for long time solutions like a marketing manager, then you have to talk privately based on salary. So it's better to choose someone from reputed managers.
