Personally I am holding this coin, I have witness from the previous month to this day it grows its price from $0.8 to $1 + which is really good for holders. Nano ATH was $33 if I am not mistaken it really has some potential and projects like this for nano are amazing.

I agree with you here. Nano is like a sleeping giant. If they will continue to expand their use case in the market, this maybe one of the alts which is worth holding for. And it seems that the nano team is serious in exploring other opportunities for this platform. With their zero fee/instant tx, this project will go a long way. So they really have capability to make it valuable in the market. But for holders, you should still closely follow their updates and developments.

I haven't followed Nano's development at all, but NanoAuth seems like an interesting concept.

But i am not sure why i should use that instead of using a pseudonymous google account. I am pretty sure it's easier and i can even set up 2fa to protect it. And i can change the password or recover my account in cae of a hack. I am pretty sure all this gets way complicated if your private key gets stolen.

Most major projects have continued developing in recent years, not sure which major projects you are referring to in OP.

Ethereum, Cardano, Chainlink, Cosmos etc have all been racking up impressive developments in the last year too. In fact, a couple of these are on the verge of a massive network update.

Still, Nano is definitely a great project and it's good to see it's still going on. Would be better if focused on building protocols for mass adoption rather than some of these weak use cases though.
