Do you think 100mh/s is realistic ?

If it is the case, Alpha technology is dead given their prices

If anyone can do it, it will be KNC...they build mining monsters and have a pretty good track record so far as pre-orders go.

I can't speak for KNC myself, but Alpha-T released the following in response to their competition...

And they told us Scrypt is ASIC resistant?

I predict more coins in the future will be based on algorithms even more ASIC resistant so GPUs would still be the best way to mine those while making a competitive profit.

I already posted this on litecointalk, but It's worth posting it here too.

The only real question is, will it support scrypt 2048/4096 (or greater) ?
If it's only for basic scrypt 1024, then it's only for litecoin as any currently maintained alt will go the 2048 way.

There's probably 3000 titan for order in total (2400 when I looked a few hours ago).
It means at least 300GH/s more on the LTC network. If it were on the market tomorrow, that would bring the diff up to 20k at least. At 20k, 100 MH/s will give you a mere 5 LTC per day, or ~$85 at current price. With VAT you'd ROI the titan in 5 months at best. And it's only with a 20k constant diff, which will not be the case at all.

So the most probable is that it will very much never ROI. Of course LTC can double or triple in price, but it just means you'd better use your money to buy LTC directly.

If you want to know how many TITAN are left, just try to order a TITAN on their site, and when you can select the quantity, just increase it to 3000. You'll have the message in red "there are only 2365" (was 2405 2 hours ago).

Exactly what I was thinking, When all these pre-orders have been released the LTC Diff will increase that much that the 100mhs LTC mining will be equal to 10 Mhs MIning today.

Sounds good but pre-order is not acceptable to be honest. If delivered in December then my 100 Gridseeds will have been mining for 10 months already and made more than $10k.......

Im Guessing by the time the 100mhs is in - the first 100 people "May" get the benefit of it but only for 2 weeks, For example:  If and ONLY if which it will not be at todays difficulty but if for some miracle it were, it will net around 300US per day..... Now back to reality, by the time it gets delivered, diff will would have naturally increased and it will probably be down to 150-200 a day, and then each day after, it will drop much quicker so by the end of the 2 weeks it will be down to around 80 Per day.. then 50 etc...

Lets not forget we have multipools, like waffle, middlecoin, clever etc etc now that are going to smash the hell out of all the alt coins... This game is a never ending game of cat n mouse... kinda over it...
