Is Arbitrage legit?

I've been looking into ways of making money during quarantine and I've come across the concept of arbitrage. I was wondering if this is legit? I've seen people selling bots for thousands and say its a good investment for long run but I'm wary of it being a scam.

Bots are probably scam or as close to a scam as it can be.
Arbitrage is legit but super risky. There are so many risk factors and so many things can go wrong.
Its risking big money to earn some a lot smaller money. Many people went bankrupt doing Arbitrage.

Here is goes, there were time when arbitraging was successful and it was nice trading in a an arbitrage ways, its just a system of buying token X of exchange N at low price, withdraw out the coin X and sell it on another exchange R at higher price, there is a slide difference in profit making, so the simple process I'd regarded as the arbitrage trading. It worked before the bull run of 2017 buts suddenly stopped and became inactive till now. Its a means of fast increase in profit through trading coin although the profit gained isn't as much as direct trading and has nothing to do with scams, arbitrage is a legit trading system.

yes, arbitrage is legit as long as we know the exact ways and money to do it. As we know, arbitrage is one of the strategies to get profits.

Arbitrage is the purchase and sale of an asset in order to profit from a difference in the asset's price between markets.

The most important thing is to know the speed of each exchange to do arbitrage. Because it will really depend on moment, When it has passed or missed the moment, it will need another jump in the coin period. That is why you may not be able to do that for the exchange with limited time.
You must also know the knowledge of arbitrage in order to ensure the chance for profits.

Arbitrage is definitely legit. I have experience in buying items low in Aliexpress and sell it on Ebay for profit. I also tried traffic arbitrage where you buy traffic low and sell it as a publisher using pop ad network.

If these bots works as they claim, why would they be selling it rather than using it themselves? It would make more sense for them to just run it and keep it a secret right? Also these bots do promise for profits so I'm not too sure yet.

Don't think the trading bot you bought is their best. I am not a bot developer, but I try to think rationally as a developer who wants maximum profit. I developed several bots with different levels, and a special bot with the highest level that I will use myself/not sell. This bot can fight other bots and even sweep the order bots at the lower level at once.
