I will be following this thread till week 13 to know what the outcome is. But from the table above, it's evident that your trade is going smoothly. I think the risk management level will suffice to bolster your margin even in case of flash crash.

If I may ask, do you give/share trade signals?

This is far beyond my knowledge as a small trader. But really enjoy your process of doing the Marathon from the first week to the next. I believe it's possible that by week 13 with your trading method and style, it will reach 0.1 BTC or even more than that. If you see how you trade so smoothly and of course behind it all there is an amazing method that you have mastered.

I am very sure by the end of the 13 weeks I will have learned something here, especially in regard to the trading strategy you are using. Mine mostly involves using stop losses, but this could help me try out new things in the near future.

I haven't used Bitmex for a long time due to verification. How is the platform these days?
Does it still freeze like back in the day?

Most threads sometimes only give you "how to thread" and some topics like that "bla bla bla" kinda boring. Actually, thread like this is more interesting to watch rather than to much theory without solid action.

Most people either trading or gambling just talk a lot of crap, and don't give anything to proof that they actually put their theory into practice.

Short is always easier and safer than long. The price always falls much faster than it rises. I started to develop margin trading back in 2018 due to the fact that I can make money when the market goes in any direction, even if it grows or falls. Therefore, for the marathon, it does not matter what will happen to the price, pump or dump, for this marathon only the state of the market will be destructive, which was, for example, in early 2019 , when everything stood still and there was no maneuver for scalping.

I always thought this was the style that makes the most sense. Bitcoin and crypto are nice to see in a rally but people often forget it spends the majority of the time in a downtrend. So if it goes down more often that it goes up, traders already improve their chances (to me anyway) when they go short.

i managed to make good money while bitcoin fell to $60 500.

The thing is... the price also goes up "now and then". I am curious how this week will go for your experiment.
However, I like it. I expect you to have great weeks and awful weeks. And I expect this to be a great lesson to all trader wannabes, much better than the do and don't topics and posts we keep seeing and doing.

If ATH breaks out this week

It will break sooner or later. And this week seems to have all the ingredients.
It also depends what happens after the ATH. I would not be surprised if some will choose around that price the moment to cash in. If so, you may have your window for more profits (or not).

Interestingly, when I was trading (scalping) I've found it much easier to trade on a bull market. When the sentiment was good, I knew that all I need is patience and the buy price I wanted was met (sooner or later).
Maybe this patience made be choose holding instead  

At such times, leveraged trading becomes a real test of market knowledge, intuition, risk and money management.

While, as holder, I prefer ATH and moon-mars-alpha cenaturi  , I'll wish you the luck and intuition to get it right.
Maybe at some later point you'll also reveal what you've done to avoid sinking when it was hard to trade (did you stop and waited for better moment.. or what safety net you had).

Mostly best post to be here, because it have some knowledge about trading, while I see a lot of posts which are not that much interesting and don't want to take part in these type of posts, this is much better to be explain and make a trading strategy for myself by following the criteria which is mentioned there awesomely.

By the way OP is a fan of shorting in case you were not aware 
So saying the trades were a success because it's a bull market would be a little unfair, especially if someone is trading futures and has even lost some trades. If it was spot market, I would totally agree with you.

I just want to compare to for the thread that just gives some theory but the @OP never share any trading activity, a long time ago I also created a thread trading shitcoin with several rules + give some screenshot of my trading activity.

I more prefer a thread like this, rather than too much theory, good luck for the trade don't forget take some profit or secure initial deposit since on the thread you say no-stop loss ~XD

What exactly do you mean? So that I give signals to LONG\SHORT?

I think that's not meant as a signal (although it's fun to think that he may have meant that  ).
I think that it was meant to tell earlier only the values meaningful for the purpose of this topic, maybe to give it more credibility for the non-believers.

For example the current "I opened a short at 63 195 and placed a take profit at 63 025" may look as a quite luckily well chosen value, or can look like a hypothetical value, picked only after the market has fallen, so your trade looks good.

Please don't misunderstand me, I don't want to imply that you were lying, I don't care at all. Since I don't trade any longer, for me it's just a fun read. (And I do like it.) I tried only to think out of the box and see what @ryzaadit could have meant. I may have understand it right or wrong, but I hope that you understand that this too can be a way to see the things.

Perhaps so, but of course I will not show my trades, I mean exactly where I open a trade and where I exit it. This is part of my trading strategy, and I did not plan to share it with the public, as these are not training courses or anything like that.

As for deception, it is not possible, since all my trade is recorded through API keys, which I added on a third-party service to monitor the exchange account.

It's your choice, clearly. I didn't open an account at TradeProfile, if that's where all the trades are recorded.
And if it's so, then indeed, those that much curious can go there and check for themselves.

Well done guys you all have good PNL not the same with mine. Lol but i know it's about time and i need more experience to fix all things in trading field. But as a small trader when i saw such good history of traders it always give me a motivation to keep pushing wherein in order to have a good win rate as well ..   someday i hope there will be a good improvement on my trades because i really want to make records just to show it to my friends that trading isn't the way what they think..

Cool thread, it reminded me LoyceV's / 10 Month 10 Person 10 Altcoin Investment Experiment. How about running a race with forum members? Let's say .... add a disclaimer, a little description of expectations or a link to this thread and rules in the spirit of those that were in LoyceV's thread, (and of course a pool for no more than 10 people). I will not look ahead, but for some reason it seems to me that if you are the pool leader, you will be able to look at margin trading from a new perspective. I will not speak for others, but I would definitely consider participating in this experiment if you suddenly want to experiment.

Well, I meant the race with the forum members and not the race against the members (you will accordingly be the leader of this marginal gang).
