I really got a laugh when the new hero member @Hvdv able to rank up their new position tag to H.M with additional 35+ merits within a month, without once reading a rules of the thread.

It's surprising that a new hero member, who should be familiar with the process for an application and has already sent merits in that post before made such a mistake. It shows carelessness and a clear disregard for the rules set by the OP.

Although, they have a attitude on sending merit to only in those merits related post and also, probably expects those merits return from who they'd sent.

When are we going to give merits to those worthy fellow?

And unfortunately, user with full member rank @N.O, which more seems to be supportive in this thread, sent merit to @Hvdv and which seems without seeing how much merit they wanted "@N.O did their job".

Three neutral tags shows how much reputation you've earned yet. Plus forum is only matters for ranking up the position these days. And I'm now observing who tf is going to send merits to user N.0 who yet is away for few merits to ranking up new rank to sr. member.

Seems you are partially blind or you smoke something before coming to comment here, because I can see you don't read correctly before commenting on post because if you do you would see my plus (+1, +1, +2 or added ) on the users i quoted before commenting on the last person.

No need to use your position and rank to bully the younger ones in this place. You of all people should know those are very harsh words because I know that if the same words where used on you, you would not like it. Low ranked member gets bully here whereas, hero member makes mistakes but none of other suggests them that the application should be in merits less thana 25 or equals to. Ops you deviated from your first point of argument and jumped on a different topic entirely, at first I thought you wanted to call our attention to the member you feel not following the thread rules, that you may report the application of Hvdv to the thread owner since that thread is self-moderated and his application could have been deleted but now is too late since he has been ranked up to Hero already, some high-rank members know this rules but tend to look away from them and play a smart game on everyone to achieve their aim just like in that case.

In the case of @Hvdv, @Hvdv could be given neutral trust by the topic creator but I see that @Hvdv has gained a lot of merits from the local board and therefore his posts could be of high quality.

I don't think just because of that mistake, he deserved to get neutral trust. If one mistake deserve to get neutral trust, I think all users in this forum will get neutral trust. We should use neutral trust for something that important to read by other users.

Honestly, this thread isn’t necessary anymore since the community doesn’t care about it. Someone might make a mistake by not reading the rules, but the thread you're referring to wasn't created by the forum, it's just a member's initiative to help users who want to rank up. And sometimes, in all the excitement to rank up, people might forget to read the instructions, but that shouldn't be a big deal.

Many users were complained they didn't get merit etc, hence people create report unmerited good posts, report posts to merit source and another one thread for rank up. Then people who comment on these thread are judged as merit seeker lol.

No one can control people who aggressive towards other users.

All I can see it's a subjective matter, which there's nothing need to take any action.

You guys seem to forget that this Hero Legendary and the rest of them are just rank names and it doesn't give sense when ranked up or it increases your knowledge or it gives you a different way of treating people. Some people normally don't know how to talk to their fellow humans, they feel that since they have a higher rank the junior ones don't have what it takes to talk to them or whatever and is sad that some of these high ranked members claim to know more than the junior members but is vice versa and I don't see anything wrong in learning from a newbie but some of the high ranked members see it as a taboo to learn from the junior ones.
The case of @Smartgold is not something you shouldn't be surprised about and I see her as someone who talks before she thinks so belittling others who she's higher than in terms of ranking is just her thing, I liked and respected her but as time went on her true nature began to unfold, she's a pretentious kind, these sets of people I see them as clout chasers, well that's how she is everybody have the way they behave so that's her own but still is not cool to bully lower ranked members.

As your account has already been tagged and the reasons for those tags clearly stated, you could always create a new account and position it completely away from any associated accounts and feedbacks attached to them by staying away from unwanted attention. When newbies create threads in the Reputation board it really does suspicious and that is when others start taking an interest.

I'm referring to the merit thread mentioned in the OP because it noted that the member who just ranked up to hero didn't even understand the rules of the thread. And here are the rules of the thread.

Newbie using AI and other bots to post in a forum is uncalled for, Becassine it doesn't take so much to comment here on bitcointalk as long as you have the information you want to pass over to others to read, and at least just 120 to 500 characters is not that a big deal that you need external help to composed so is outer ignorant to think that you have to blend your writing in an essay before posting here.

Those are not -3 tags mate. They are neutral tags. A way to show that accounts are linked and everything is absolutely fine if you do not cheat with your alt.

There is a difference between
-3  = negative tag
3 = neutral tag
+3 = positive tag

I am not going to stand with the allegations against you regarding the alt accounts, but I'm only going to focus on the merit rule hvdv broke. First of all, it's not a forum rule, but a rule made by the topic creator, the two merit difference you're calling out isn't that much of a difference to make such a huge fuss about. Whether we like it or not, you can't have the whole forum monitoring for merit abuse, yes it has happened in the past, especially on the local boards, some are caught, some others aren't, but this is merely an abuse from hvdv's part. The two merit wouldn't make that much of a difference.

According to what you were suggesting in this thread, those should have been reds and not neutral tags. I and some other old members have spent a few years in this forum to differentiate between a genuine and fake newbies, and you, sir, are a fake newbie.

You are the kind of people who are a plague to this forum. Perhaps that's why some senior members appear to be rude to some of these brand-new accounts. They are probably tired of the daily AI account farmers and their bullshit
