is there an owner of this place? does it only get paid from advertiing?  do they take donation?  must cost a lot to run and would want to send some support to help forum run but see no how to do it message.  they should put a donate and help link on this webpage.

Most of the revenue is from the paid advert auctions but theymos has previously said donations are not necessary.

wow!  thank u but 30BTC or 50BTC is bit much for my bank! was thinkin like a few bucks!    i like to help were I go if i want to use it.    can't afford to be a vip.  maybe someday but will see on copper.

You can help the forum by contributing as a user. Theymos has said the forum doesn't need money, and considering it owns like $12M in Bitcoin, I believe him

You can freely donate any amount if you just want to help fund the forum though. It's just that 10 and 50 BTC will get you a special rank whereas anything below that amount won't(besides the copper member rank, which is through a different link).

 yikes, 12M.  well then maybe he can donate to me i'm poor.  lol  gess that makes sense.  must pay lots of tax on that!  hahahaha
