Started my .bat file and it kicked off, and then got the EthDcrMiner64.exe has stopped working message.

Been searching online / youtubes / everything I can find, but nothing has worked yet.

Increased my memory, substantially, so don't think that's an issue.

Even saw where you can choose certain files not to be excluded by Windows, supposedly to avoid receiving that dreaded message.

Please, please if anyone can point me in the right direction and/or provide some guidance I would be sooooooo greatly appreciative.

Thanks,

Gillzilla.

P.S. - I have an 8 Nvidia 1060 GPU rig. Was working fine earlier until I had to do a clean update of Windows, download Claymore, do my settings again, everything. All 8 GPUs are recognized and want to mine, but gets halted right after it starts. Please any assistance is much appreciated.

Why u use claymore for ETH/Nvidia.
Use ethminer, more stable, same performance and no dev fee.

Nah, its just that its a bit friendly user and has high hashrate IMHO compared to the link you've provided, so whats the same performance you're talking about here? Cheesy

to the OP, seems your windows defender/firewall blocked the miner, check your settings or exempt this to your OS

What OS you're using? Windows 7 or 10?

My miner is fine with windows 10 without issue,

Here is my bat file setup.

Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool asia1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xb6E5D8047776F0f13117b281749589F50225FC4D -epsw x -di 012

try to change your bat file and edit the wallet address to your own address and -di if your miner has 3 GPU just type it 012 but if you have 6 GPU in your rig you must change it to -di 012345.

And hope this time the ethdcrminer64.exe will not stop working.

If still not working maybe your OS is corrupted while you are formatting or clean install.
Try to format your machine again.

What version of claymore?  I noticed the newest version does that for me but if I go back to 10.x series then it works fine.  Just a thought.

I'm also having this very same issue with multiple mining rigs

http://prntscr.com/it9d57

Nothing is helping so far. I do suspect it's a HW problem with a single card/riser/MB slot

I'm having 8 card rigs (mostly)
Win10 1709 EN Pro heavily modified for mining (working like a charm on tons of rigs)
18.1.1 drivers with compute mode enabled
PageFile set to 64+GB size (8 cards per 8GB)
OC & UV is being done with Overdriven batch file, also tried stock clocks
Claymore's miner from 9.8 to 11.4

I've tried everything .. hardly to get rid of this error
(cloning the SSD, DDU, reinstalling the drivers, changing all posible values)

I think Claymore itself should bring some light into this problem

By example:

WTF is going on? I built a second rig with Asrock H110 BTC MB yesterday. Have only 2 nvidia cards on it at the moment. A 1060 and a 1050TI. I have 2 of the same cards with my other rig. Fully updated, Win 10 Pro. Runs like a champ on my first rig. I'm wondering since this is a fresh install of Win 10 v1709 I'm missing some files. Maybe Directx? I have Java updated. The same gpu drivers on my first rig. I have tried different Claymore versions. CCminer runs straight up on the new rig. Nicehash is giving me the white screen so I am trying to get that going. It just seems as though I am missing system files and I'm wasting valuable mining time!!!! Any help or info would be appreciated, Have been searching for info since yesterday,

Win 10 has all the settings where they should be. I did not do anything to the bois as this was a used mb I purchased. Maybe I should be looking there?

Thanks!

Forgot to mention I have made an exception in Win 10 defender for the files/folders.
My machines specs

Asrock H110
4gb ram
1 tb HDD
650w Gold evga ps
2 evga gpus

pretty basic but I don't think the power draw is there with 2 cards since claymore says its power hungry. I don't know
