Dear forum members,

I am currently in the final stage of negotiations with a company that plans to do a bounty & sign. campaign, promoting their event (the goal is to sell tickets), and I have some doubts about some rules:

The idea is to offer a fixed amount for posting on forum/twitter/reddit/medium plus a variable bonus based on their direct sales (measured by a reff link, tailor made for participants only).

Am I allowed to do that?

The number of participants will not be unlimited, the limit will be around the number of 25.

Best regards,
big_daddy

If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

1. You can divide the final amount to 2 parts. One is for a signature campaign and one is for social media campaigns where people will be limited and will be paid for their social media task.
2. You can do it also according to the stake. For that you have to divide the fund in 4 parts (signature/twitter/reddit/medium), then you can arrange the payout amount for each part. For this better to go bounty section and see some examples from other campaigns.

Edit: Sorry I forget to indicate the reff link issues

So if you want to add the referral link in the signature code then it OK AFAIK. Also For social media campaign will not affect IMO.

If it's a refferal link made for each participant but within the signature, then that's Ok. You can go ahead.

If you are confused about ref link in signature, I think it's okay. One ua free to use any signature they want. There's a member in the forum who even use a service which is risky to use, the purpose of that vanity address service is to steal fund of generated address. I can't remember the user name.

Take our signatures (freebitco.in) as an example it allows us to put our own referral links. The idea of fixed amount of post here in forum is quite the norm but outside other platforms if it allows it that's the big question, but I guess you don't have to worry about it.

Escrow the bounty funds and take a deeper look on the legitimacy of the project, it's for your sake and the participants.

Yeah better to listen with him, he is managing campaigns already and I've worked for him for like 2 to 3 campaigns I guess.
or hear out the other campaign managers  Cheesy

At the end of the day it is your right to accept or refuse the project, don't be dazed with the money they got to offer to you.

Better to actually listen to forum mods/admins that can actually ban you because of it.

Ref links can be a real pain in the ass for, because to get a bonus, people will definitely spam. I advice to make some limits or divide reward distribution into 2-3 parts. Users who wishes to get rich quickly will create a negative reputation with all that referral staff.

You are right that better to get a word from mod. I actually said about it because we have seen some campaigns to put ref link in sig code, for example freebitco.in signature campaign.

And for social media campaign, participants will not post the ref link in this forum. They will post the link in the social media. So maybe there is no problem here. But better to know from the mods.

If I made any mistake then sory for it. And you for giving this constructive suggestion.

I might not have any idea of what he is talking about but what I will say is if your instincts tells you to go ahead with it feel free and follow your heart on decision you make all the best.
