Some smartphones like Samsung have a default security that is bundled in the latest Samsung phones today. That's a good smartphone security in my opinion, because Samsung is working with the Mcafee antivirus platform and for other smartphones it has its own security vendors.

On the one hand, it’s good that smartphones come with AV pre-installed because everyone gets security at no extra cost - but some don’t like it because they want to have a choice of whether they want to use something or not. Huawei, for example, has Avast AV in its devices as part of the Optimizer app - and considering the scandal the company has been in recently, I don't think their users are very happy with that fact.

In order to remove Avast, it is necessary to remove the entire Optimizer, and for that you need to have a rooted phone - which means loss of warranty.

The additional security that has been provided makes me happy and without having to spend any more money to buy an antivirus license that I have to install.
indeed some people are not happy with the antivirus features that have been embedded in smartphone brands for several reasons.

But for me it is a mandatory feature and should be there for security reasons.

Huawei currently has a big problem with Google. If Google Service is not available, some applications cannot run, but it can be solved by installing Google App Installer.

A rooted phone is not completely out of warranty. We can also Unroot when the application has been deleted.
