Since so many new users are joining
DT1 and
DT2, there should be some guidelines, how to properly leave a feedback.
Many times I also have left just a "short" ones, but now I see them as a incomplete.
I have an idea to collect the best practices when leaving a feedback.
My first suggestion is regarding the
Account Sellers.
Posting only "
Account Seller" might be enough for those who are familiar with the rules but most of the time those who try to buy an account have heard that they can make money here and to skip developing an account, especially now with the merit system, just purchase one and have no idea that there are consequences. Most of the time they get scammed too.
So what I think we should be doing is to leave a bit more detailed information in the feedback, not only
Account Seller. but Like for instance:
Here is an example of a short feedback - account_seller777:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2678226Note:The self-moderation is only to prevent this thread from being flooded with spam. No censorship! It'd take me a while to find the thread, but this was discussed by the various people DT and non-DT about three/three and a half years ago (as well as labling alts either those alts that have scammed, or, are simply alts but no scam is apparent).
Account buying/selling is not endorsed by the forum and can result in negative feedback on the account. Account sellers are not to be trusted, you are most likely to loose money.
I tend to write:
BCT account seller which causes instability in this forum and in real life.
and usually give a link to their account selling activities.
(I tend to place "BCT" to denote a forum account seller as opposed to a Pay Pal / Twitter / Facebook / Casino etc etc account seller.)I'd be happy to go back and modify my previous posts with the above if there is consensus on that statement.
One question I would like to pose, is, are we just going to label bitcointalk account sellers, or, other types of accounts such as
Facebook account - sellers? or what about those who it would seem are
offering to escrow such transactions?
Feel free to scroll back through my trust feedback on my main alt's page for more account sellers:
