Bitamp login seed problem

dear Bitconian community.

I have an online wallet on bitamp.com and I log in using my seed key.

but since morning impossible to identify online?  i tried creating a new account with a new seeds key but even that doesn't work.  Is anyone having the same problem as me?

I tried to do the same from my phone and another laptop.

apparently it's a problem on their site

I never used that site so have no idea how it works. However it seems the problem is in their side so perhaps wait few hours or a day to see if anything has changed. Have you tried contacting their customer service yet?

it normally takes a minute.  but impossible.

it would appear that the problem is on their side.

I tried to contact support for other reasons before but never got answers to my questions....

I was able to go to the "generate wallet" page just now and got given a "new" 12 word seed, and was able to "login" using that 12 word seed here: https://wallet.bitamp.com/#/login.html

If you're not able to login with that, it could be something on your end (adblocker? browser extension? antivirus/antimalware etc) that is preventing the website from working properly. Maybe try clearing your browser cache etc... or maybe a different browser altogether?

I do not think the problem is from Bitamp side, I have just created bitamp wallet immediately I read about this and it worked perfectly. You can try to contact their customer care but first make sure your internet connection is good. The wallet works perfectly here with me. Your internet connection may likely be the cause.

I was able to create a seed on my side and was able to login. In fact I logged out and logged in again successfully. This was the seed:

Now, this means that problem is in your side. Would you try to change the browser. Try with a different browser and see if it works.

This seems a real problem then. I assume you have entered the correct seed.

Have you tried any of the seed we posted here? Try with the one I posted and see if you can see the same address. If you can access this wallet then you will have bad news. Surely something will be wrong with your seed.

Does your wallet have a lot of transactions? like hundreds of transactions? Perhaps if you have "hundreds" of transactions, it is causing issues for bitamp to scan your entire wallet history during login and it is timing out?

As Royse777 asked, are you able to connect using one of the 12 word seeds we've just posted? They're all empty, so there isn't any history to scan etc. so should log in fairly quickly if your problem is being caused by a large transaction history.

I tried several times.  I can't do it.  we even tried from my neighbor's house on his computer.  impossible.  I have over $ 5,500 in my account.  and since this morning I have been unable to access it.  and I have no responses from support....

I really do not understand now. Pretty sure you are missing something. Please double-check everything you are doing. Since some of us here can access our wallets, so should you be.

A thought:
Since you have the 12 word seed, why not you try to restore the wallet with Electrum? You will need to be sure that you have selected BIP 39 and selecting the correct derivation path. In my case with the same seed in my early post I have this:







PS: Be 100% sure that you are downloading the client from https://electrum.org/#download

The only thing that comes to my mind is that they may have blocked some countries from opening wallets in their website. Have you tried to open your wallet using a VPN?

Anyway, since the seed generated by Bitamp is BIP39, there is no need to worry. You can import your seed phrase into any other wallet that support BIP39 seeds. As already suggested by Royse777, the best option is Electrum. Download it and follow the steps stated above.

Possibly some weird DNS issue in your location that was preventing the login process from completing properly... or possibly Bitamp did indeed have an issue in their backend and connections from your location were being "load-balanced" onto a server that was having issues preventing you from logging in.

Anyway, glad that it appears to be sorted... in the meantime you might want to investigate backup solutions (like Electrum etc) in case you experience a similar situation in the future and need quick access to your funds.

Do not worry, bitamp use BIP39 Seed where you can importing into kind of wallet such electrum, mycelium, coinomi, bluewallet, hardware wallet and etc.

To know what happens is by following the instruction by Royse777, it doesn't need to connect to the internet if you had installed on your PC. If don't have, use https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ then check if your 12 seed is worked, if doesn't work maybe you missing some word.
