My experience as a newbies in ICO/IEO

Most of is started bitcoin on trial, and are not regretting it.to my surprise many still held unto it even when it was low with discouraging market value, and I think this is due to the knowledge we have about it. greed has never being good anywhere and those who have learnt that in crypto should not be told again as the market is recovering. Many have learnt in a hard way In 2017. Once you miss you opportunities the distance of time to correct it may be very long.

My experiences when I first started was really a roller coaster ride. Most of the experience I have now from ICOs are from my failure. I remember buying out of FOMO and being inable tp save the recovery files for the wallet where I lost almost $400 of investment reall quick. Losing my funds due to being negligent of not keeping my wallet secured and investing in scam ICOs. All of this are lessons that I still apply whenever I join any projects.

I had such times that I participated in many bounties at the same time. To complete everything, I spent 5-7 hours at the computer. I even used to consider it as the main job. Now, I trade mostly, and do not trust most projects (ICO/IEO).

My journey and experience in the cryptocurrency space started early 2016 when I first hard about bitcoin and some time late 2016 I decided to give it a try, as an early adaptor I invested some couple of dollars in bitcoin. And in 2017  made as significant profits from my investment and I decided to invest in other altcoins which also gave me so much turn over, it was all good until the year 2018 when the market noise dive into deep crash and that also come with a lot of lesson's which I will like to share them with us 1 of them is never to get greedy once you make some profits just pull it out and move ahead and again never invest in over hype projects because lots of them never make it good in the market. And when it comes in to buying into a new project I advice you wait until the project hit the exchange because over 50% of the ICO today sale below their ICO price on the exchange market so best you buy from exchange.

it was a great experience guys, people need to learn about you, just look at people getting crazy with lots of DeFi tokens, farming and staking nowadays, they burn their money and waste it buying such tokens, even though the concept is tokens like that very ancient and never last long, why do those people never learn from previous failures, thanks for your experience hopefully people today avoid the scammer project, by the way there are no more ICO/IEO at this time due to lack of trust

Is there still an ICO projects? I thought most of the are now adapting the IEO

Yes, there are stilll project that do there initial offering through ICO and if you check the altcoin bounty section you will see some of them there but they did some modifications in how they introduce themselves to the public so that naive investors wont understand their initial offering was run through ICOs

Well that's true I invested before to ICO multiple times especially on presales and what happened is that after hitting the exchange the value of my investment almost reduced up to 60%

No, not only ICO alone because 97% of all new coins are hype base and the coins usually experience dump when they are  listed on exchange but if the team involve have good strategy to help the coin surge in price the coin will be save thats what Uniswap does about their UNI.

Yes you are right I feel how painful it is to invest in a project that looks good and then when the project is over and they start listing their coins so at that point I try to hold it for the next few days then I try to reopen it and when I see the coin the price is destroyed so there is no movement at all. So there's a lot of learning that I really notice when a project is listed on an exchange.
