There have been a peaceful protest on twitter and different states in Nigeria that has been trending the past few days, the Nigerian youth demand the Government to reform it policing and put an end to police brutality especially the group called #FSARs. It has attracted a lot of international attention including some popular and influencers on Twitter.
Some individuals decide to help and fund the protest by making donation through Flucterwave for provision of lawyers for any unlawful actions by police, food and drinks. The platform was shutdown as soon as they started receiving funds.
In response to that, Jack Dorsey Tweeted to put an end to SARS and adviced to make donations Via BITCOIN instead.
This is why bitcoin exist, no one can temper with your money unless they have access to private key.

@Princejebs it’s not unusual for these kind of campaign accounts to get banned from receiving funds, because in most cases the government usually cites law and order situation and forces their accounts to be closed. @Gyfts initially I thought that Jack Twitter account was hacked, but it seems that’s not the case, and he’s openly supporting the movement and therefore I feel that we should praise him, and not judge him for any ulterior motives.

As Jack’s censorship and manipulation becomes more widely known, I suspect his image will take a hit. I used to think he cared about freedom and fairness, but as you’ve pointed out, all his actions are curiously self-serving.

Guy makes a company to buy Bitcoin cause some of the other ways of buying it are a bit of annoying and also replicates a Venmo like business (not sure if he or Venmo was the first person to do it) Guy then continues to post about Bitcoin on his twitter account and makes the news every so often for it. Gets a ton of free advertising for CashApp, and Twitter for that.

He's doing well on this lol.

Honestly speaking, at times in life, the more sympathy you give, the less you need. At least one should never be so cheap and docile to support a bad government where all politicians lie for their own selfish interests.  

It doesn't have to happen in your country, or wait till it effect your business before you give the little support you can. Spread the love and say NO to bad ruling by the bad government.

It's not a good idea to let people with ulterior motives get behind your cause. Jack Dorsey is not your friend if his platform on Twitter is any indication on how he feels about censorship and controlling a narrative.
