I have sent them 0.005 BTC to buy Ethereum. and they Refused to send me Ethereum.

They said their security system blocked my Transaction. so I need to send same amount of BTC again that's the only way to Receive my money back.

@Jamal, why used that exchange? I've never heard of them in the forum. Why not use known and reputable crypto exchanges here? Have you read any review or feedback before transferring your money to them? You can even use binance for this transaction of yours as it is eth and actually there are lot of top exchanges that you can have that tx easily without getting any trouble.

IMO he's using that exchange because he want to take advantage of the exchange rate

While the rate right now is

1 ETH Ethereum = 0.03 BTC Bitcoin at the rate on 2020-10-07.
1 BTC Bitcoin = 31.24 ETH Ethereum at the rate on 2020-10-07.

Usually each exchange only have difference around 1-3%, but this exchange offer quite higher rate.
The difference around 20% for Ethereum to Bitcoin and 40% for Bitcoin to Ethereum. This is some trick about instant profit, obviously it's scam.

jamalaezaz is one of the old and experienced use in this forum. I can not guess how actually he tried to use this exchange. And how he can believe that these offers is real.

That site offering

While the rate right now is

1 ETH Ethereum = 0.03 BTC Bitcoin at the rate on 2020-10-07.
1 BTC Bitcoin = 31.24 ETH Ethereum at the rate on 2020-10-07.

That means this site is another like https://advancedtrader.top/ and https://convolution.live/ which are offerring 1 BTC=59 Ethereum. If any offer an insane instant discount(10-20)% then we have to believe that is must scam.

This is why I always tell that before using an exchange  look for a review first and look deeper on the exchange history and its always better to use the well-known exchange

You were an experienced user of this forum, how you all into this trap where they are offering very high exchange rates. I can guess this is a scam site because of fact @Jawhead999 mentioned above. You have to admit you were greedy to grave the high fake exchange rates.

Sorry for the loss. But how you end up at that site? On what site/ads you found it? No matter how it offers with good rates there's no way I will use such site, even the first look of it will give you a hint.

I found it from a banner ad in another website. and yes. the difference in Exchange rates were the reason I got attracted.

You should not be interested in the reason for different exchange rates. Many scamer now to withdraw from the difference in exchange rates, but if we are not careful then it will be trapped like you.

Even I am new to this exchange site and you make mistakes and this will be a lesson for all of us not to be tempted by exchange rates that are different from others.
