I was talking about this topic. The one in hand. You are digging out the past. That's ok. As humans we lie more often than we think. We are not Saints. So yeah I have lied in the past and publicly apologized for that. But I did not lie about this. I know my past more than you!

This is not supposed to be so. I think OP still need help and if anyone wants to help, they should proceed. It is now that OP needs the help even more. The reason is not far fetched. In my country which I believe is applicable in other countries, if a patient dies, the bills are not waved. The patient's relatives will have to settle all the hospital bills before the deceased would be buried.
So, the death of the grandma should instead motivate donations rather than treating the matter as ended.
