So Today in Gambling Section i saw this post,
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284674.msg55460770#msg55460770

Quote
Okay guys, this shit is literally free money.

So basically Nitrogensports gives you a 100% deposit bonus once you become a beta tester of their browser addon.

The most stupid thing about it is that you don't need to do anything, you can "become a beta tester" as they call it, then get your deposit doubled (up to 0.01 btc) and withdraw all shit without betting.

This promotion is new, they posted it like 2 hours ago, you can read the post here: https://telegra.ph/Become-a-Beta-Tester-of-NitrogenSports-Promotions-addon-and-earn-up-to-001-BTC-10-27

honestly I think they will change the rules of this promo later, because right now its literally $130 donation for everyone

screenshot from my blockchain (possibly the quickest money I've made this year)
https://i.imgur.com/lrMiVoE.png

I will probably try to multiaccount and see if that works again

So this a Pure Way of Scamming.
I checked the Deposit section of Nitrogensports and as mentioned in the Post above by the OP in the blog no such notification was not there.
About the Promotion the the Nitrogensports team hasn't mentioned in their official blog also https://blog.nitrogensports.eu/promotions/
Neither in their ANN thread in the forum. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355081.0

So it's an obvious scam attempt which will be done if we add that extension in our Broswer, it might just take all our balance that we will deposit in the site (not tried though).
I have already reported the user to Mods, but for the time Being as the OP's thread is locked, it's a request to DT to tag the account.( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2869754 )
Atleast someone will be saved from being scammed.

Thanks for Reading this.

Good catch. This is a link to a page with malware and should be reported as such. Whoever is behind this has been at it for quite some time. They make their post, it gets reported and deleted, and the account gets banned. Then the cycle is repeated, over and over again. I think somebody started a thread specifically for reporting this problem but I don't remember what it was.

Next time just make a post in this thread:

Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action !

and it will be reported and dealt with. Thanks.

Don't worry, the telegraph has recognized OP's story and has rewarded him with a column in the leading newspaper.

More you can read here: https://telegra.ph/Hi-This-is-LimLims-from-bitcointalk-10-27

That takes a lot of effort to make an extension and make an impersonation of a real telegraph handle. The screenshots are well edited and the scammer spent some time while coding the extension and then doing some photoshop Tongue

As mentioned earlier by nutildah it isn't a relatively new scam attempt, it already occurred several times and repeated in the past. IIRC the Nitrogensports had clarified that those actions were not done by their representative, so if you see a similar post such this one next time it's better to report it to mod directly.

I think somebody started a thread specifically for reporting this problem but I don't remember what it was.
Yeah I still remember about it, here's the thread - theymos, please automatic nuke them: a group of scammers.

This kind of scam has been going on for a long time with a few modifications.

I think somebody started a thread specifically for reporting this problem but I don't remember what it was.
Here is a thread Nutildah was probably talking about;
New scam schema on the forum - Free Money To Test Casinos
