does anyone think XRP could be just a sleeping giant? i heard the news about it's spike i was intrigued and was thinking of buying some XRP right now maybe a portion of XRP and Ethereum and the rest will be in bitcoin. do you think that would be a great idea?

I am one who believes and thinking that XRP(Ripple) was a sleeping giant. Who would've thought that XRP now were become a good investment possessing a continuous rising of market value. Currently i am thinking that i should invest in it too. Don't want to miss the bull rocket of XRP before the fork comes. And speaking of fork was one reason which holding me back on my plan this might could be one of the reason to dropped XRP value uncontrollably.

I think the $1 price level is still quite difficult for Ripple even though they have shown a significant increase in the last few days. Maybe when bitcoin does hit the $25k price level, XRP will be able to keep up

It maybe because of the Flare airdrop where XRP holders are gonna be benefited from this. On Facebook, I see lots of people calling XRP a shitcoin back then when it was hovering around $0.20 to $0.25. And now the price got more than tripled already and it returned to the 3rd spot on CoinMarketCap. My cousin who is holding XRP must be very happy to see this pump, but expect that a correction or pullback would happen anytime. If I were you guys, sell the profit and keep the capital. Just my opinion.

I'm of the same view you expressed on the possibility of it pulling back after this period of pumping. This is very common in this space and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens just before the beginning of next year. I think the current pump is not going to be sustainable for a long time, hence, the reason new investors should trade cautiously. Just prepare for what will happen after the planned airdrop is concluded.

Maybe that is right, but we need to remember what was happened to XRP in the last bull run.
The price can rise to the highest price quickly, which makes many people amaze that, and many of them are late to buy XRP.
XRP itself still at a low price now, and as you say, maybe it will need more time to break $1. But I guess that can happen in the future because the price can touch $0.7 as the highest price in just a few days ago.
But after the bitcoin price makes another correction, the price now is back to $0.5, but I guess that price will be increased again after bitcoin can back increase to the high price.
Like other coins, we need to give more time to see if XRP can increase in a short time or long term, and don't greedy to take the profit.

Yes, and some of them just take advantage of good moments in the airdrop program because of the support from XRP, so that is also very good because those who are able to take advantage of good moments will always be profitable at all times.

I agree with you that many who invest in XRP (and many other coins as well) do so to cash out quickly (perhaps after the airdrop in the case of Ripple. However, I do think that such attitude to the crypto market is rather having a negative effect on the value of the coins and the industry in general.

If all those who invested during the period of bull-run liquidate their investment immediately after gain, the end result will definitely be a drastic fall in value to pre-bullrun or even lower than the price before the move. How I wish investors don't look at crypto as a get-rich-quick industry and invest with caution and patience. We can see what is happening now - about 15% fall in the overall crypto market cap in the last 24 hours.

If you currently hold XRP, yes, it's a good opportunity to turn in a meaningful reward. But you should watch and monitor the market closely to know when to cash out for a maximized returns. You can equally go long term (may be 6 months - 2 years) in your holding and you'll still be good at the end. Just do your research and follow developments in the market.

As regards listing on Binance (if that's what you mean by BNB), XRP has been trading on the Binance exchange since 2017 and you can always trade it on the platform anytime. I don't think it's going to be relisted again in the exchange.

Obviously, ripple has grown due to the airdrop expectations on December 12, when the SPARK tokens will be handed out for holding ripple. I think this is not yet the peak of Ripple's growth, I'm waiting for it at $ 1 and I will sell there.

I do agree with your statement, sudden gain in ripple price has happened because of the airdrop thing, all the XRP holders would able to get SPARK token airdrop. That's must be the reason behind XRP's price spike. As well if BTC crosses the $ 20k mark then again it will get momentum in its growth and it could be reached to $1 price.

The hype about the airdrop was mostly the driving force of the pump i would say, xrp is a centralise project as as far as I know the crypto Community don't take much interest on such project and already xrp is on the top of cmc list which shows the project is already well known by many, can't call it a sleeping giant because it has already made name.

Most of the time I say to people that it does not really mater why a coin is moving the way it does as long as it is not because of a pump and dump or a scam, the question that as a trader you need to ask yourself is if you can take advantage of the movement that you are watching? If not then forget about it and if you can then you need to observe the market very carefully so you can take full advantage of the current movement.

After all even if you were to find out why XRP is moving the way it did that is still not going to tell you how high it will go or for how long so it is one of those questions that while interesting makes nothing to improve your chances to make a good trade.

There were times in the past that XRP price had surge because of a near development of a project such as the time when they announced the SWELL. But after it investors dismay about its update and then price dive once again. It's almost like a scam already which is why if this Flare flops, you can expect the plunge too. $0.60 is likely the sell wall of Garlinghouse.

Maybe he means about ripple has the more possibilities to be pump but it's not yet pumped. BTW people knew about that but it seems like it's not about XRP is sitting on the third place of CMC.
The spark token has been giving a very big contribution to the price of ripple. Hence ripple can achieve this rate easily. People are betting their life on this spark token. Some people predicted if spark token will worth a lot of money too.
