Dear all,

I had put my XRP by end of 2017 onto a desktop wallet, probably (but I am not 100% sure) from Rippex which does not exist anymore, even the link to their website is dead : https://rippex.net/. All I have is a file named "wallet" with a string of 600 characters inside, and a password.

How can I recover them the access to my XRPs? I need to access them as quickly as possible as there is an airdrop soon.

Thanks you very much in advance for your help!

I'm not a fan of XRP, but I think your case was already solved from this site:  https://www.xrpchat.com/topic/21166-rippex-removed-wallet-software-how-can-i-open-my-wallett/

Just follow the steps at the end of that post...

this is how you can restore your coins. https://crypthena.com/rippex-wallet-closed-full-instruction-how-to-restore-you-coins-ripple-xrp/

its from the thread provided by pedrillo0, it recommended a toastwallet which you can import your backup code to access your ripple. I'm not a fan of xrp either but you know i still have my ripples since 2016 that i kept on my wallet. never touched them actually even when its price hits $3. i don't know why.  Grin
