So if newbies aren't going crazy to invest on altcoins like ICO era in 2017 there won't be altcoin season? No wonder many altcoins aren't surging high after Ethereum reached 1200$, I'm confused myself, it shows that even if Bitcoin hits 50,000$ more money must go straight for altcoins as well for altcoin season to begin, damn!.

I looked at this XYZ coin shield and that it does not inspire confidence in me at all, it is traded on only two exchanges, if you buy it for a very small amount of dollars

What actually caught my attention is the altcoin season and I wish to say something on it. It looks like a lot of people are patiently waiting for it but one need to ask some questions like, what is delaying it? Isn't it taking more time than usual? Why are some altcoins such as Ethereum, LTC, DOT, etc growing with Bitcoin without bothering and/or waiting about altcoin season? The simple answer I found to all these questions is, things have changed totally, it is no longer business as usual, that is, if a project have nothing to offer, it won't attract the type of investors that will invest and cause it to grow alongside Bitcoin than waiting for altcoin season; a good examples are the aforementioned altcoins. Also, the more Bitcoin grows, the more it makes it further difficult for altcoin season because it shows that, the attention/focus on it is still increasing.
Nevertheless, the crypto space can't not be predicted most of the times if not all the time, who knows altcoin season might still happen but no one knows when or if at all it will.

Thank you for the good observation, you are very right that things have changed marginally, Ethereum is trading at over 1000$ I expected many altcoins to have bring insane ROI already, in January 2018 Ethereum ATH was 1400$ and many altcoins like Zcash, Zclassic are over 1000% gains, now it's all about real use case, there is no more room for shit coins to surge, things have changed

If altcoin season will happen, it will be a rally of select few coins, most likely Ethereum and some others, but shitcoins without strong fundamentals are not going to be invited. Trying to guess which coin has a chance to be a part of alt season is just stupidly risky, why not just hold Bitcoin and enjoy guaranteed profits?

Bitcoin still remains the most profitable so far, even Ethereum the king of altcoins don't come any closer to bitcoin achievement, things are surely going to be different around altcoins this time, the only chance of making good profits from altcoins is by sticking with top altcoins, they are the most useful altcoins in the market

It's will definitely come, but nobody knows when it will be. BTC Dominance still too high for altcoin show their power, we need bitcoin too stay at some good support point, so the dominance will become lower, it will make trader move their money to alt market
