How do bounties distribute allocated tokens to participants?

Hello,

I many of us have participated in various bounties organized on Bitcointalk. Yes, I am talking about those bounties with $(3digit)K token allocation which run for 1 or 2 months. Such bounties get many participants - more than 1000. So, I needed to know how projects owner distribute such bounty tokens to participants? Let's consider bounty is of ERC20 tokens and individually placing such 1000 transactions on blockchain costs a lot of fees. Creating a smart contract does cost the transaction fees on Ethereum blockchain for each transactions.

So, what is the economic way here? Let's discuss.

Nowadays project owners use Multisender app to send multiple transaction for a considerable fee i guess, this site have the capacity to send transaction that are many and i don't think it cost mush although i have not tried it but i believe it is the most efficient and cost effective way to send multiple transaction.

Sometimes it costs much to send bounty hunters their tokens, few projects have halt distribution due to high gas fee, sometimes the gas fee can be over hundreds of dollars depending on how many participants joined the project

Yeah, that's why I have started this thread. I am asked for a solution to this issue by a friend but I couldn't come up with a solid answer.

Although that it is no longer your concern how they do that, as long as they send you guys the payment and the amount the stakes you deserve, that's all that matters. But aside from multi-sending, they can also send it one after another and the cost and effort will be on them if they do it like that.
But with hundreds to thousands of participants, they are likely sending it by batch to save time and effort. The fees? it's not that much if the project is successful and garnered millions of dollars.

If you are not a project owner then you don't need to worry about it. I think @Bitstar_coin already answered one portion of your question. Another portion of your question is transaction fees.  Project owner track ERC20 GAS fees https://etherscan.io/gastracker. When the GAS is low they send tokens. Some projects ask transaction fees from participants for token distribution, such as the P2P project.

When a project is saying that they allocate million dollar worth of tokens for bounties then they shouldn't get worried about the transaction fees in the first glance. Project owners are not going to transmit tokens individually, there are certain apps allows them to broadcast a transaction including multiple outputs so the fees will be a dust comparing with the amount they are sending in the transaction.

Forget about the gas fees and as the participant and what you need to get to receive your reward. The owner has been thinking about that and that's why the owner agreed to pay the bounty even the total allocation for the campaign is really small. The owner will try to distribute it based on the stakes that earned by the hunters.

This thread is not dedicated to bounty participants solely. It is for knowledge and I got such requests from owners multiple times to suggest a better way distributing them.

Some people only read topic headings then make comment  others just misread and give irritating comment all of which you have to deal with,

And back to the topic of discussion, I think project owners knows their way around sending multiple transactions and keeping the fees to the lowest minimum, when the gas is too high some project owners do inform participants about high gas fee and request for their patience, others will demand hunters will pay the gas fee (but not very common)
In a nutshell, I don't think there is a cheaper way than what have already been mentioned but I do not know much about this stuff so maybe there is.

As I know most the bounty managers prefer to use the Multisender app for these kind of transactions.

In any mode there will be no difference in transaction fees if it is done in the direct ERC20 network, normal transaction rates still apply in general.
If you want a solution to save costs and even free, you can make transfers between one platform custodian wallet. Usually there are no fees for internal transactions.

Dont mind off about the fees that they would spent because majority of them wont really be paying in the end.  

As already mentioned there are tools which can be directly to use up for multi address transaction so it shouldnt bother you on how they do gonna send it out and how
much fees they would use.

Dont mind off about the fees that they would spent because majority of them wont really be paying in the end.

much fees they would use.
