back in the day i put some small amounts <1% of hoard into exchanges to just to play around for fun.
only $50 worth at the time..
exchanges 'got hacked' and the sites disapeared.

oh well 3btc is still pennies on the dollar losses.
hope the retired exchange guy are spending that $111k(3x$37) wisely

i dont mind it, was <1% of my hoard. so life moves on. lessons learned

I just did, and actually got $100 on some gambling platforms that I frequented back in the days. I also know that I still have some btc left on an exchange though I forgot what that is, and it could be something that I could use given that bitcoin is already at a price point wherein that ‘dust’ I previously refer to matters.

I checked freebitco.in and I still have something in it. Glad they do not just close your shit and take it as they please.

Couldn't agree more. I recently found 3 Blockchain wallets and 2 Ethereum ones. One of them had almost  $100 worth of Bitcoin, back when it was deposited, its value was just a few dollars, something like $2. It's not a huge deal but it was nice to unexpectedly find a few bucks.

The other two Ethereum wallets had some tokens in them, unfortunately, they were worthless.
