On December 8th 2020, someone deposited 28.15 Bitcoins, into 22 different cryptocurrency wallets – almost all of which belonged to well-known right-wing figures and organizations.

It’s believed that the transfers were made as a way to boost the far-right agenda.

So, it's pretty much just money being used as money. What seems to be the problem here?

I guess also that PAPER USD Dollars are used for payments into right-wing wallets before the Capitol riots. So what?!

"Believed".
There's no proof as the article says. It's just timely that those transfers were made, we are even seeing huge transfers than that from millions to billions of sleeping wallet.
Unless the US government had tracked and verified the source and the receivers, they can have a conclusion that it's the fund for the riot. But to say that it's just a belief and no proof, it could be a normal transfer from a holder to disseminate it to his different wallets.

Nick Fuentes received $400,000+ in BTC in one of those donation drops.

I followed Nick Fuentes on social media since 2015/2016. Back when he only had a few thousand followers, before he became famous.

He started out as a right winger who supported Donald Trump. Couldn't make money. Complained about not being able to afford things. There was a conspiracy where Kassy Dillon the founder of Lone Conservative tried to record him saying offensive things with a hidden microphone. He used to be targeted, criticized and attacked the way Donald Trump is when he was a real right winger.

He changed. I don't know if he can be called a right winger anymore. He's not the same guy he used to be. It seems that he joined forces with everything he used to oppose.

They call him a "right winger" but he's spent more time and energy promoting democrats like Andrew Yang than he has anyone else.

People will believe anything they read. The article provides no support for any of its claims.

Who are the 22 people?
How do they know that the addresses belong to these 22 people?
How do they know that the owners of the addresses are "right-wingers"?
Half of the country are right-wingers. Is there something wrong with sending money to any of them?
Were payments made to left-wingers, too?

The article sounds more like like Russian-sponsored FUD than anything else, if you ask me.

And it just goes to show that whichever political leaning you may be, bitcoin can help you in terms of payment. I guess this is just another way of demonizing the use of bitcoin, given the recent events at the Capitol. We may have the figures in bitcoin that was paid to those people, but what about the fiat that was surely paid in their bank accounts separately? I don't think this hurts bitcoin too much, though the media will always try to spin things negatively so long as it fits the bill on what the people want to read.

BTC is a currency, and who and how to use it is everyone's business. It is foolish to add some kind of intent to this, not knowing for sure the whole truth about what is there and how it happened, many dollars are also paid for various illegal things, then these dollars in circulation turn out to be an honest salary of some hard worker. BTC is an Internet resource, and it is money, and money, as you know, does not smell

So it's just that to make them payments anonymously they used bitcoin. However that is also far fetched since we have no proofs for this as well. All these news are either just made to attract more customers on their sites really. A news with solid proof is something we should share and discuss about.

This was not that eye catchy news due to poor article backups. This just brings some random discussion.

Some of the guys are right here, it just looks like another transaction out of 100 thousands that happen every now and then over blockchain.

So, it's pretty much just money being used as money. What seems to be the problem here?
