I have very cheap electricity but i will not pay 4x price for that, no way i will buy even eth goes to 5k. Patient always made me correct. Buying 3070 for 1400-1800usd is insane. I can earn much more just trading that money on exchange instead earning 4-5$ a day.
I'm not saying you should pay 4x the regular price for a card, I said that if someone have free, solar or cheap electricity rates, it makes sense to buy hardware, even more expensive ones, but I'm not saying 4x
And another thing, I prefer to pay higher prices and turn into profits than paying half the price and not take profit from it, it's just math here, if you can turn something into profits, go ahead, just do the math, a plan and go
I already bought my hardware at regular prices last year, and just a couple of GPUs this year before the price skyrocketed
Another thing to consider, market won't get back to normal this year, some manufacturers are saying only in 2022, so it's going to be hard to get GPUs at a decent price this year.
