What is the likelihood that crypto will be overrun & corrupted if we don't stick to the ideals?

Will you be able to stand by the truth (even if  your life is at risk) whenever a great takeover, deception and mind control is attempted on the community?  Would you defend it and continue to insist that the right be done, even if the pressure becomes too much? ... Or will you surrender immediately, abandon and betray your colleagues in the "battle"?
I have notice this few weeks how easily a takeover can happen. It shows how really vulnerable humans are.
Battles like this requires alot of Faith in GOD, courage, good planning ,selflessness, never-give-up attitude, good principles, etc
