Gday, I opted for windows 8.1.
I have this problem that are try to get 5 x GIGABYTE R9 27OC 2GD to run with montherboard Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 Rev. 1.0.
Right now four cards is runing becuase i can't get the last card to be found. And the "Fun" part is at the start Windows found all cards but after restart it can only find four cards.
I am using Catalyst 13.10 and SDK v2.9
Here is my hardware spec:
- Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 Rev. 1.0
- AMD Sempron 145 / 2.8 GHz Processor
- KINGSTON 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Non-ECC CL9
- 2 x Corsair CS Series 750W CS750M 80+ Gold
I have disable all stuff in bios that not in use. I have try to use 1x to 16x riser but there could i only get three cards to work. I have also tried presence shorting on a PCIE1 and the PCIE16_1, PCIE16_2 and the PCIE8 slot with no luck.
Right now i use 16x to 16x on the two 16x PCIE and 16x to 16x in the 8x PCIE and then i the two 4x PCIE i use 1x to 16x and it's only the one of them there is found. But it was with this setup Windows find all the cards in first place.
If i use the 1x PCIE then i can't only get three cards to work.
Any help would be appreciated, this is doing my head in.
