I have free electricity and I'm thinking of using old graphic cards to mine Ethereum to get some $$$, these GPUs are rx550, rx560, thinking I can squeeze few Hashrates out of them and get even up to 10mh per card is enough, what do you think? Stupid idea ?

What's free? There is no such thing as free electricity unless you build green energy like solar system or wind turbine, if that's from government then it's not free, anyways just know that RX550 isn't Profitable at all, the RX560 is a bit better, it can do 10mh per sec with 45 watts, that's 0.80$ per day

You can have difficulty making it to work because rx560 has two variant only, one is 2gb and other is 4gb and eth dag is over 4gb right now, you will have to try different miners to make the card hash for you, I'm guessing lolminer will do the trick

I think RX550 have 4gb GPUs too, you can easily see that using Minerstat calculator, and it says this card can do 11mh/s on Ethereum network, that's not bad, very close to a 1$ right now, OP can still make close to 2$ every 24 hours with these two cards, put them to work already before it's too late

11mhs was before dag went over 4gb..not that its larger all 4gb cards keep decreasing.  Right now a 550/560 is doing 5-7mhs only.  Soon it will be even lower.  So $0.65 a day at best currently.  Every 4.5 days it will decrease.

If it's me I would buy some cheep ASIC's, plug and play. The RX550 560 will be not usable on eth very soon...
