Hi all,

I'm new to EOS, but I bought some in the past.
Now I come accross this site:

I have profited from airdrops in the past, but... is this safe? I read a lot about get-eos.io which was a scam, but not about this site.

It says:

Claiming tokens for xxxxx. Due to the network congestion please allow up to 1 min for the transaction to appear.

Your account is eligible to claim x.9040 EOS. Please sign the request.

I'm suspicious....

All these websites that promise to give you major cryptocurrencies are fake. They promise you free coin or token to generate traffic to their website. Although some of them actually pay you but what you earn will only be considered as a waste of time as they're so little to even cover the cost of the Internet used on then let alone of making a fortune from it.

It's a scam and the EOS chain never gets congestion caused by it has implemented the solution to fix the scalability problem.
it's a fake airdrop and you should avoid to deal with such site.

There's no legit site that was offering EOS as airdrop reward. The only ways to get it from staking. Anything about airdrop has a very big probability to be the scam airdrop. That's why people have been leaving the airdrop because almost all of airdrops are scam

It looks fake, I'm guessing that the website will get access to your recovery seed if you import it into through the website or you can be asked to make deposit before getting the airdrop, I can't even find the details about this giveaway on block.one, can't be trusted

I'm not quite sure about the website but upon first look at it I can say that I don't trust it but if you really have a doubts about it better to stay away from it rather than to regret it in the future.

It's good that you ask the community before trusting that site.

Because it really smells like a scam for the beginning, the design of the site and how it age in less than a year? And I'm not really sure if EOS is making an airdrop though. So if you want to know about any airdrop or the latest about EOS you better follow them on their official social media sites, like Twitter.

website looks very  pro. i got to admit its convincing but i don't know how this will be legit since the real website of EOS is EOS.io. and they are also not giving away any  EOS to anyone.  the token is so cheap by the way while its ATH price is $22.

get-eos domain must have gotten the idea because the scatter website has a domain of get-scatter.  0.9EOS is peanuts just buy some of it if you really wanted to profit from it.

Just avoid it if you have doubts.

Follow your guts and if you're not familiar with the website, the first very step is just not to use them or deposit any amount if it is requiring you to do. With the doubts of the majority here, I think that's sufficient for you to just simply stop looking at them and avoiding it at all cost.

The delay of 1 min might also be a tactic to give their potential user a sign of relief but that could also be where the trick starts until it's delayed forever.
