What do you think about all that speculations about earth being unlivable in couple hundred years?

Goverments try to ban diesel cars because they "produce too much polution" , but a cow farts more gases in a day than 12 cars and its not just a word it has been proven that its true.Yes cars are very bad for the earth but if politics wasnt so much like buissness they would think about public transport and people wouldn't use cars not beacuse of bans beacuse its too expensive compared to public transport.


All sorts of food become "ECO" how does a tomato become "eco"?

I think they are trying to manipulate slowly something but still cant figure it out , love to hear what do you guys think about it

That's why they've made electronic cars to reduce pollution. I think whatever we do to avoid pollution, it will only slow down.

It won't be gone but that's much better to be slowed down but hopefully, there will be an actual clear of pollution in the future with modern technologies.

I think its a scary reality what you say about not being able to live on Earth in a couple hundreds of years.
 
But I also think they are preparing us for this and since I wont be here I have other things to focus on and worry about.

You have spoken here for hundreds of years there is no reason to worry there is no guarantee that the earth will last for so many years. Pollution usually spreads from all sides but the government cannot control it completely even if it wants to turning off digital cars will not slow everything down the response to this pollution will increase from other directions instead of the car. But everything is improving through technology.

I wonder where did the cow farts joke come from. There is a big difference beetween cows and cars. Carbon polution from cars comes from burning oil, which is mined from earth. If we wouldn't mined it and burned it, the carbon will never come to the air. Polution in cows farts comes from digestion of grass, but this polution comes to the air even if the cow won't exists - it will be released during grass lifecycle either, so we cannot thread it like polution - it is part of natural lifecycle on the Earth. Mass mining and burning oil is not part of any cycle - because there are second part missing (the one which return carbon back to earth).

The first main problem is that there are too many people to preserve balance with natural cycles on whole planet. The solution is simple - reduce quantity of people. If we cannot do this (or don't want to) we have to accept the fact that the balance will never be re-achieved and we have to find other ways of survival. But it is impossible to do it with preservance of today's lifecycle and life diversity.

Second big problem is energy source. A lot of environmental issues will be solved if we had some kind of (ideally) infinite source, so energy will be cheap and available to anyone in any ammount. IMHO the ideal energy source property is to achieve completed balanced cycle similar to lifecycle for example. But maybe it is impossible to have such energy source.

In many countries, governments have supported the adoption of electric vehicles, one of which is by freeing taxes for electric car owners. but as you said that whatever humans are doing now only slows down, not prevents because factory activities are still the biggest cause of pollution, especially in industrialized countries.

That's the sad reality about the pollution.

Electronic cars are good band aid solution but I think it will have a huge impact of slowing down if majority of the countries have access to it. But as another sad thing, not all are.

Funny thing is, pollution in the title and in the OP, being spelled incorrectly, are kinda like pollution.
