I prefer fixed staking reward. That gives everyone the possibility to earn the fixed interest from their staking reward. I think that's better rather than percentage based staking reward. I will vote for the number 1.

Using percentage-based staking rewards, it will really be the same even you have a lot or few coins that have been staked, in that way, I can say it can be fairer.
Question on #1. Fixed staking rewards. What will be the advantage here if a user stakes a large amount? and what if few amount only? It is still the same?
That's why the percentage-based is still much better for me.

Fixed staking rewards seems not fair. The reward is 1 token/each day if you stake at least 1 token, so if you have 50 token... you only earn 1 token for staking 50 token. I know we can create multiple address, but it needed gas fee to transfer the token.

Percentage staking rewards will fair since you invested based how much your token staked. If you stake large amount token, you'll get large percentage staking and vice versa.

Even though you say it seems old, but literally it's the better choice rather than fixed staking based.

Fixed is better than percentage staking rewards, you already know how much you will earn when staking cycle is over, it's a good strategy, the problem with PoS coins is they are unreliable, they lose value and you still end up in loss, if you have to stake your coins make sure you choose from top 10 coins

Before you make that POS coin, make sure that there will be a consensus to justify which is good and what are the implications, good or bad. With too many pos coins there and offering fixed rewards, think of an answer what shall make you better from those.
At the start, it's not about the fixed or percentage rewards but it should be the worth of the coin you're developing to be noticed by most people.

Hi everyone. I need the advice of yours. I was thinking to develop a new POS coin. What do you think is better

1. Fixed staking rewards.

2. Percentage based staking rewards.

Percentage based rewards in kinda old technology...

Thank you in advance.

I prefer fixed staking rewards to do any staking program. Since i will know what i will receive for the reward at the beginning.
But the problem for PoS coin is how to maintain the value of the coin while you earn it costless (didnt need any electricity cost).

I would suggest you to come up with a solid business plan not just a ponzi based coin and even if you are looking to introduce staking make sure it does really need staking to maintain and help the network like ethereum and other coins staking works where stakers are the validators, all i want to suggest is that if you want to come up with your own project it should be solid and legit and not just a fake coin to attract small investments.

Of course, the fixed bounty hunter reward rates are much better than on equity participation. With fixed payments, you can determine in advance the approximate amount of remuneration and the profitability of participation in bounty companies. True, in this case, it will be necessary to set a limit for the participants in the bounty group for each rank, since the size of the reward pool is also limited.
