To be honest making money from creating blog on steem is so difficult these days and it's not the same like when steem has become a very popular site a few years ago. So many people have been leaving from there and they are moving to the another platform that could gave them all good income. You need to create an article or commenting.

From my research on steem it's more for writers, or maybe those in the act of telling stories with pictures, well it's all about article you can call it free lancing. But just like every where else if you there to make money you have to give yourself time, I think those earning big from there now didn't start today and had already come a long way learning. So do your own research very well.

They are others ways of making money out of steemit rather than writing, since the comments here can discourage you from using steemit I'll say that the other option for you is to sell steemit verified accounts, it's a good market if you know how to get around things. To get a verified steemit account is very difficult for some people and if it's impossible for you then try reselling the account from well known steemit account vendors. This way you can build a website for the service and start ranking on google. Given a few months or years you'll make more money compared to starting from scratch as a steemit writer.

Most comments already made clear that it is difficult to make money on steemit which is true especially this days, for me I'll say that you can still make money if you are a good writer.
As a good writer, you should try to build your followers and also engage in writeups of others.
You can then join article writing bounty campaign. Although not all bounty campaigns are legit but if you are good and find writing as a hobby, it will eventually make you good money. It will be an added advantage if you can write in other popular languages aside English.

As someone said above me, forget steem and go to the bounty section and write your own article. Making a few dollars in steem is so difficult rather than try to join in the bounty and then you can get a few dollars at the end of campaign from your article.
People are not even using steem anymore and this platform is not a popular platform again. Medium has been taking everything from steem. You need to be a famous writer on steem to be able to make decent amounts of money from there. I think that you must change your mind to try steem. it's not worth anymore and you will be wasting a lot of your energy to write an article that will not even give you a single dollar from there.

There is a thing about making money. It is hard and takes a lot of effort. Even then, people with access seem to do it almost effortlessly. Crypto enabled a lot of people to have the same access and this has made it seem that crypto can earn money. It can't be denied that a lot of mofos just got lucky and made easy fortunes. Yet, most of those people have been working hard in the space using their technical and intellectual skills to engage and produce content. This leads them to opportunities.

I have seen this happen with a lot of people and it doesn't just involve making a blog on Steem. That is so 2017 now. Same kind of opportunities don't exist anymore. The only way to earn money is to be working really hard on crypto for months, try to find a community and a niche and hope that you get lucky too.

On Steem, you need to have a lot of friends followers and buy up "Steem power" so you can curate and give out rewards so that people will respond to you. Lol, and you think it’s easy to create a website, advertise it, create contents and start making money through ads and affiliate marketing? That’s not an easy thing to do, in case you’re not aware of that. Affiliate market is a really difficult job to do, not to talk about creating a website and advertising and growing your audience, and not to talk of being consistent in creating contents?

It’s not like I’m saying that anyone can do it, but you made it seem like it’s much more easy than creating an account starting off on Steem. It would be far much easier to start on Steem meehn, as you wouldn’t have to go through much process .

Yeah, for you to be able to make money on Steem is through having contents that goes viral. But, before your content goes viral it needs to be a good content. So, you have to be consistent with creating good contents on the platform before you would have a chance at getting a content that would go viral. That’s why before going into this platform, you have to make sure that you have a passion for writing, if not you would easily give up.

It’s a platform that is meant for writers and to reward them for writing good contents. If that is someone like you, then you can give it a try, have patience and keep creating, one day it would start working out.
