I think if I'm not mistaken he himself said that cryptocurrency might be the future currency of interplanetary exploration in the future. Considering how versatile cryptocurrencies are it's really possible and since spaceX is all about technology implementing blockchain not gonna be hard for them.
I guess it's just matter of time until spaceX or whatever future company elon gonna create implements cryptocurrencies.

Doge is an affordable coin that really works. Elon Musk can show many people that the future belongs to cryptocurrency and it's time to stop being afraid to invest in it. Mr. Musk has repeatedly stated that he likes Dogecoin, and as we all saw Doge coins, many liked it.

Elon Musk only think how to get much profit with some coin without have owner of coin he buy, like doge with anonym owner make him easy to get much profit different with trx or other coin because the owner could make coin dump before he sell. Doge become easy for pump by Elon without any people could make price down before he sell, so its look happy for Elon Musk and easy how to make coin become pump and dump when he want.

Elon Musk plays on crowd behavior. He will definitely benefit from his tweets and investments. But will those who followed his example benefit if the hype ends and the coin depreciates? In any case, the situation is interesting and how it all ends is also interesting.
