ETH PoW isn't going away like you said but the rewards will be incredibly lower once people start using that E9 ASIC miner, to keep up with your usual earnings you would be forced to add more GPUs to their mining setup, ETH mining is never going to remain the same again

Everything has a limit, eth has grown a lot already, coming from 86 usd last year march 2020 to 3500 usd may 2021 is a lot, that is 44 times already, I guess the top will be very close to 50x, which will be 86 usd x 50 = 4300 usd, to stretch out a bit then 5k then back to 200 - 500 usd, I know you trolls laugh when i say eth will crash to 200 - 500, it may sounds impossible right now but that is how cryptos are, I myself would never believe eth would crash to 80 usd in 2018, i thought maximum would be around 200 usd, from 1440 usd. Cryptos rise and crash a lot, so expect a huge crash after it rose a lot.

But  20000/1440 = 13.88 to one this is the 2017/2018 btc to eth number

so 13.88 x 3400 = 47222

and 13.88 x 4600 = 63,848.   That would match up and 4600 could be the top.

So 4600 would be the low top based on 2017/2018 ratios

and 16240 would be the high top based on what doge did from last summer to now.

They will be forced to get stuck with the cards for many years to come just to get back what they invested, well said but it might not be entirely bad for those who have free electricity like myself, though I buy my GPUs at 2x price per one
