Bounty link: 🚀[BOUNTY]🚀 BucksCake's💥 Bounty Campaign (🔥9,000 BKC ~180,000$🔥)(FINISHED)

What Happened: Projects webpage is dead, social media link are cleaned from data or no longer exist.

Few flags already showed that bounty hunters should not wait much from this bounty, but yesterday/today it became 100% clear that this is a scam, when the projects erased everything connected to them.

Those who have powers could post in their topic that people who post reports after these accusation are promoting scam and tag topic starter.

These scams are still happening and people are still getting fooled. Undecided

Were there investors who put their money in it? If possible gather them in a telegram group and get them file a complaint. Take the legal route because they lost their money. Bounty hunters are not legally bound to be paid but still this could be a possible way to punch back at them.

If the IP/country location details of the website owner can be found out, it will not be long before the scammers get caught, but of course corrupted law enforcement in some countries will not help, which is usually where these scams take place from.

Even then, gather the mob and then take a decision. For now, how about raising a Type1 Flag on the account which posted the bounty and any other accounts that may be connected to the same?

It's only been a couple of days since the deadline passed, but yeah it looks like another hit-and-run scam. So they just did a token sale and then deleted everything, how nice. At least they couldn't be bothered to delete the bounty thread.

I was looking for an ETH address belonging to them to see how much they raised during their "presale" and couldn't find it. I did find an archived version of the white paper. It was shamelessly copy/pasted by hoards of bounty hunters on other mediums across the web.

The WP language doesn't appear to be plagiarized, it's original content. Whoever it was went all in on making a realistic-looking DeFi platform. Spared no expense. Except scams are expense-saving by nature, and they didn't even spend the ETH to make the token. LOL.

So much about hard working bounty hunters Cheesy. But seriously, I am sorry for those who are making video reviews as I saw that some of them actually put decent effort into it, while this article bounty work from what I saw is just a copy/paste or text spinned content.

After their website, twitter and Telegram went down, some guy on their bounty thread is still hoping for the best. As long as bounty hunters keep being so naive, they will be exploited by scammers..

Any sourse of this claim? Where you got the news that it's a scam project? Although the bounty manager taking some time to give us the updated spreadsheet in this thread. It doesn't mean the project is scam. Let's wait some time more ,Give them some more time to update us before claiming scam without any strong proof. I hope you got my point. Wink

@bakasabo  I know that won't really change anything, but if you raise the flag against @BucksCake I will gladly support it.

That bounty hunter you quoted... Who is that guy really kidding if not himself... Classic hardcore denial of reality, lol.

The whole thing reminds me of Ethconnect, one of the cleanest swindles of all-time. Hot off the recent successes of Bitconnect, this coin was, you guessed it, Bitconnect but on Ethereum. The main difference is Ethconnect never even existed!  Cheesy

It conducted an ICO on the premise that its tokens would be used for a Bitconnect-esque "lending system." They had an almost neverending token sale, which continued well after it was exposed as a scam, and then packed up shop and rode off into the sunset without distributing shit.

Hah yeah, they really tend to be very gullible, like in this case. Worst thing of all is, if they were willing to invest just a fraction of time they spend on doing those shitty bounties, they would manage to learn thing or two about crypto, and while doing so maybe even get in some signature campaign and make some money that way.

I don't think I heard about Ethconnect before as that was before I became active here, but I guess some things never really change.

When I see an ANN for a new project, I assume its a scam or future failure by default, as that is the statistically appropriate thing to do. Bounty hunters look at a fresh bounty and think "I might be able to get some money from this and I don't care about anything else." And it shows in their work. It's a narrow-minded, short-term point of view, and a waste of time given how much employment potential is out there for people who can demonstrate working knowledge about crypto.

If you look closely at all the participants in this bounty, then these are "beginners" without single merit. It is very doubtful that they participated individually, most likely farms are involved here, which hope to get a jackpot more than participation in the signature companies. This has been said many times when I asked about the meaning of bounty hunter participation.
They will probably be lucky to earn some money, and they will continue their "just" cause because these are other people with a different mindset. . If this company turned out to be a scam, then it is already a habit developed over the years. People participating in such programs are real optimists who hope every day that they can finally get rich. And the quality of posts is not important here, they hope to make money on the number of accounts. Therefore, do not worry too much and regret their time spent, tomorrow a new bounty will begin, and they will move there in formation.

I started my path as a beginner without a single merit Smiley Participated as an individual and gone through bumps.

Even right now I try my luck participating in different campaigns, managed by reputed managers or by completely newbie. I will be honest if I say that sometimes I participate in shady campaigns on purpose, hoping that in the end something good might came out of the project.
Yes, I'm an optimist, hoping not to get rich, but get some easy money, as I participate in all these social media bounty in free time and spend 10-15min on them daily. Being scammed does not bother me at all. I'm quite resistant to them now. In fact, it is even interesting to see how scam develops.

The only thing I dont like are the posts with reports, that are maid after project is already tagged by scam. They simply make trash on the forum (after I participate and get reward, I delete reports posts). That was the main purpose of this topic - show evidence that project is scam and prevent hunters from making new posts and expect to get something from the project.

Not only this project but also all bounties are full with non merited newbies even some are there band new account. They don't care about bounty rules Smiley.

Personally I guess bounties means full of farmed accounts. Though it’s just my guess only. It’s because of Bounty campaigns rules, scam busters don't care to catch newbie farm accounts like before, and some previously banned members coming with a lot of farms account and their focus only how to earn a lot money from this forum.

I see now almost all bounties are full of newbie accounts who don't get merit, they join without caring about others, meaning that there are many rules that are broken by them, I also believe this is an agricultural account that is created to beat the bounty to get more money there.

And even though there are bounties that are caught plagiarism or fake photos, the newbie account doesn't care anymore, now I think it's clear that this is a cultivated account and maybe one person will control a lot of newbie accounts.

Ok, being scammed doesn't bother you, but have you ever thought that by joining campaign that you know is shady AF and promoting the project you may make someone invest their hard earned money? Realistically, chances for that to happen based on some tweets/fb shares/whatever are miniscule as bounty hunters usually follow each other and have 0 reach, but what if someone from your followers see you writing "xyz project is the best" and actually decided to invest? Doesn't that bother you at all?

Remember, purpose of scammy projects is not to scam bounty hunters out of useless shitcoins, but to scam people out of their ETH/BTC or whatever they accept as a mean of payment.

I dont join obvious scam projects promotional programs. By shady I meant, something like KragX. Another DEX exchange that offers various options to earn, that on first glance does not have a future. But who knows what they could really achieve? If you were a bounty hunter, would you ever consider at least retweeting their tweets, or you will skip immediately?

I never know who will scam people tomorrow or who will surprise market with something innovative. Of course I partly rely on a bounty manager and partly do own research, while I'm ready to receive nothing for work done. But I will never promote something like "invest 1 Bitcoin, receive 2 Bitcoins instantly".

I understand, but honestly I wouldn't join something that I think has no future and that there is a high chance of either being a scam or to just fail, as it happens  more often than not with those altcoins projects.

If you were a bounty hunter, would you ever consider at least retweeting their tweets, or you will skip immediately?
I would join bounty campaign only if I personally invested my own money into some project. By the way, since you are active on bounty hunter scene, do you ever invest in some altcoin while doing bounty campaign, or do you know any bounty hunters that do that?

I've risked twice. The criteria of investing was - bounty altcoin can be traded, reputed manager.

First project I've invested and participated in bounty was OAX. This project already raised hardcap and decided to run bounty. I was in it for a long period. Best part of it was - monthly reward distribution of a token that is listed.

Secont project - DIA DATA. I trust bubbalex completely, without hesitating joined his bounty and get some tokens.

Ah, so you haven't invested in something before it was listed and then did the bounty campaign to kinda get more tokens of a project you like, and in the meantime spread the word?

That reminded me of that dodgy technique that I saw few times where after bounty was over, team required from bounty hunters to invest 50-100 USD in order to get those bounty tokens. That has to be one of the shittiest ways to screw up bounty hunters.
