I have accounts on multiple exchanges and even though, most of them are empty, I still would like to know whether the text is coming from an exchange or not.

I received a text the other day, simply saying "A login attempt from IP: xxx.xx.xxx.xx". I'm pretty sure it's not from any social media platform so it's more than likely to be an exchange or crypto platform.

I checked the IP addresses, and one of them was from my country, while the other was from Ecuador. The phone number sending the text was from the U.S. I had no luck finding who is it from (+1 347-690-7919) but it could be from Twilio. Any help is appreciated.

I think email notifications should be triggered too, try to search for the IP address in your email accounts.

Another possibility is it could be a scam sms, maybe a follow sms might come after trying to scare you with the login attempts like "secure your account now (insert phishing link)

In any case, I would try to change the passwords of my important accounts just to be sure.

Most exchanges will notify you via email in case someone is trying to login into your account and most definitely they would include their platform name.
Most likely it's a scam attempt. I would blacklist that phone number if I were you.

I have received these kind of messages too back in the past (totally forgot the name of the exchange) which it did prompt me about new log in attempt

but honestly i havent registered out on that particular exchange which i do directly said to myself that this was just a scam attempt or some sort.

On the other hand, Kucoin does have that kind of notification when you do make use of your mobile phone to create an account and everytime you do make a logged in, it does
notify you via SMS showing off IP address and the location.
