Will Bitcoin do the same scenario in 2018 ?

i am wondering if Bitcoin will fall again like it happened in 2018 after the Bull run !
even in this time the price raised too much faster in shorter time.
last two days Bitcoin price felt 10000 $
i know that some news affect the market, but should we sell now in this panic ! or should we hold 
i am a little bit confused
 

Crypto market is always changing and pump and dump is not new to us, after the bullrun there is always a big dip, the problem there is we don't know when that dip come. If only we know when the pump and when that dip will happens maybe crypto is become more way of making profit but it is not. That is why we need patience and we need to control our self emotion.

Its name is the market cycle, and it must have happened at some point. but I don't feel that bitcoin will experience the same scenario as the last bearish 2018, currently bitcoin has more large holders and is more trusted by the public as a quite profitable investment

very correct ! this scenario will continue to occur, after there is a tremendous increase in price there will be an even more extraordinary decrease in price. If you pay attention to the market, maybe you will think that the 2018 scenario will happen soon.

But if it does repeat the 2018 scenario then I would try my best to accumulate as much as I could and hold it till the 2020 scenario repeat and create a new ATH.

Expect this kind of scenario will happen since people are just waiting for a huge dip, many want to see a 2018 like scenario to buy more potential coin and stake for long term but I'm also doubting we can see something like thus since eventhough bitcoin reach at $45k current rate still many traders are now in position to buy at cheap rate so expect that for now we will play at 40k+ to 50k price level.

I was one of them who are waiting for the dip, and I believe that many more people are waiting for the dip to buy bitcoin, but all we can do now is to prepair for that dip beause the exact date of the dip it yet unknown and i we did not do some preparation maybe we will miss some opportunity to earn profit.

Only time could tell if history will repeat itself. But for me, that is not likely to happen again because many institutions now invested in bitcoin and started to acknowledge the use of blockchain technology in their businesses unlike in 2017-2018 where it was just hype resulting in bitcoin to reach $20k and drop more than 75% of that price. Mass adoption is slowly happening and not just bitcoin but also different cryptocurrencies are gaining traction to the public. Many popular personalities now see bitcoin as a store of value and a good investment for long term.

We must also look at the top, we saw bitcoin making a top in 2017 and right now it looks completely different than what we saw back then, the top only lasted for a few days in 2017 and then the price crashed away from it relatively quickly, right now we are close to the top once again and this has been the case for almost 2 months and it is to be expected this is going to remain this way, basically what this tells me is that this is not the top which means the price will keep growing during the next months.

Didn't you understand the question, OP said 2018 so I didn't include 2017 plus even if we were to include it, it won't still be the same because the prices of bitcoin even if it was to go down now is probably not the same pattern as back in 2018.

Exactly, it continuously fall at that year mentioned  but we cannot actually say that we cannot experience that again since there's a possibilities that maybe it will happen this time. Although we cannot deny that there's a threat right now that if bitcoin but what good thing here is bitcoin is showing some good sign of little recovery.

Hopefully we cannot see a something like huge drop but if that scenario happen when its good chance for us to accumulate.

Actually this will not happen, even if it happens, there will be destruction behind all of this because I think when the price is high, how could this scenario be repeated like in 2018, even unexpectedly.
In fact, I consider it now not from Elon Musk that the market has gone down but because it has been a long time ago that the market has been a recovery, there will definitely be a bear market that will come. Maybe now it is slowly moving, but what I hope is that in the long run I will worry about how other institutions will be. will go away and don't trust bitcoin anymore.
But in this year, bitcoin is at its highest so this panic should not be too deep.

It had a price drop and it is still staying at that price I don't really know what to expect.
I don't know what to feel if it would repeat the 2018 scenario I would be excited and happy because we could now accumulate more at a low price, But I would also be scared and anxious that it would just stay low or continue to drop because of those who would quit.
But if it does repeat the 2018 scenario then I would try my best to accumulate as much as I could and hold it till the 2020 scenario repeat and create a new ATH.

Not a bad plan but what happens is that many try to do something similar but very few can survive the winter that will come if this is indeed the end of the bull market, holding your coins when you are in profits and the market is always going up is very easy, holding your coins when the market is going down is one of the most difficult things to do because you are probably going to have to hold your coins for years without knowing when the next bull market is coming, but if you can do it you can obtain profits that will most likely change your life.
