Investments in Bitcoin aren't a one-year, four-year, or X-year proposition

The Bitcoin price cannot be predicted in advance. Medium-term investors should not invest in bitcoins. With Bitcoin, you're investing for life.

The cryptocurrency market is a growing one. As monumental an effect as the internet may have. But the internet didn't happen overnight, and neither will crypto. In fact, the internet's effects are yet to be fully realized.

Stock-to-flow models and 4-year halvening cycles are popular. Neither of these matters. The behavior of the markets has been significantly different than expected even this year. It represents just a drop in a vast ocean of finance. Recently, the price of Bitcoin changed dramatically based only on a tweet from Elon Musk. The market isn't well-established or robust. There is still a long way to go for Bitcoin (and for all cryptocurrencies).

There is no doubt that our grandchildren will use some form of cryptocurrency as their primary store of value and currency. It's impossible to say exactly which cryptocurrency that will be, but there are good odds that it will be Bitcoin. Within any of our lifetimes, it may not be obvious that cryptocurrency will have any value. If you need money in a year, do not invest it. If you plan on wanting something in ten years, don't invest the money. It is a good idea to invest money such as your children's and grandchildren's inheritance. Put your money into established cryptocurrencies. Make sure most of your money is invested in Bitcoin, which is the largest cryptocurrency currently existing.

It's easy to categorize Bitcoin as one of a number of fraudulent schemes and get-rich-quick schemes out there. There are many fundamental reasons for investing in Bitcoin, but they are extremely long-term. There is no guarantee that you will be paid for your contribution tomorrow just because you are correct today. Focus on overcoming hype - it clouds our investment thesis and core messages. Bitcoin needs not only the best Cryptocurrency, but also a community that is not culty and overly optimistic, but rather one that is conservative, rational, and welcoming.
