Any newbie that is able to avoid spamming and plagiarism mean while, takes to quality posting and constructive argument is sure to do well in the forum. These are the measure offences that can be easily committed by a newbie becuase mots times, they believe it would be over looked or aren't really aware of the gravity of the offence and how easily it could be traced  as such, a timer is always tempting but unfortunately, you don't get a second chance to tell the tail. Newbies, be wise and take the forum serious so your aims and goals on the forum would not be short lived. Be your best and do your best and you would be noticed. There is never a dull moment I  the forum, so don't be the dull one.

I use to wonder how do newbie get enough experience to advice a fellow newbie. The advice should instead come from higher members who has more knowledge about this group.  But for the issue if plagiarism should be know about everyone even before joining the group. It is not good to copy someone work without quoting the person. If I am government, I will put prison reward for the act.

No need wondering, there's two possible scenario playing out when ever you see this, first is that that account is an alt. 90% of the newbie that start picking interest in merit, the trust system and basically how the forum is been ran are using alts account probably trying to grow their accounts for milking the forum.

The second is that, not all newbie are newbies per se in the space. They might be newbie on the forum either because they discovered the forum later or saw no need to join when the picked interest in the industry but now find it useful.

The ranks aren't a judgement of your knowledge in the industry instead how long you have stayed on the forum with an addition to how contributing your posts has been not including those that recieved an airdrop of merit when the system was launched.
