Seriously bitcoin can either be used as investments or as a trading depending on what you are using it for there are lot's of people that are making there money on bitcoin which serve to the person as a business and there are some people that do buy and hold bitcoin in there wallet for a long period of time which serve as a investment to the person. Depending on what you use it for and what pays you must.

It will depend on how your point of view about Bitcoin.
A trader will see Bitcoin as a valuable asset for trading. But at the same time, he is probably also an investor, where to invest in Bitcoin much longer term so that they can get profits at a certain target price. And of course, it is a business if you are concerned with some projects related to crypto or Bitcoin itself. there are so many types of business to be done with BTC, including gambling and also some terms as said by mk4.
By and btw, this can be also a currency because you can pay something to certain merchants or companies with Bitcoin.
