This particular right is heavily violated in countries with authoritarian regimes. It's almost impossible to find a well-paid job without connections to those in power or without being a zealous supporter of the regime. We all know that Bitcoin can help with protecting this particular right.

Well, I'll try to explain what I mean. If you have some valuable skills and can't find a good paid job at home, you can work for foreign companies via the Internet(leaving your home country is not an option for many residents of authoritarian countries). But they can't pay you in your local currency, while receiving USD or EURO can be a problem for you. For example, in Soviet Union dealing in foreign currency was punishable with up to 8 years in prison. Right now non-governmental exchanges are banned in Iran, so people are forced to exchange according to official rate, which is almost 2 times lower than real rate. Until recently it was illegal to posses US dollars in Cuba; Venezuelan government attempted to ban USD not so long ago; Zimbabwe banned foreign currencies at some point recently ... and I'm sure there are more such countries, but there's very little info on them on the web. Also, in many poor countries, even though USD and EURO are not banned there, people have credit cards which are not activated for international usage, or don't have them at all. ... But anyone can create a Bitcoin wallet and receive payments to it.

Maybe in some way BTC did it or not. But truly the biggest companies should have a focus on those people who are in financially critical condition. There are many needy communities and they don't get any help. Like BTC many other sectors should have come in front to make the earth beautiful.

I believe that the use of Bitcoin will pursue completely different goals and it is unlikely that Bitcoin will help the poor become richer. But with regard to independence from the banking system and state control of each user, including secure financial transfers, Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies were created for this.

BTC had helped a lot in making things possible especially for the unbanked.  We've read the reports of fundings for the poor and it makes BTC good for humanity regardless of whether the poor can afford to invest.

Apparently because its a freedom money it can also be used in bad ways. Although I have not read the real proof that its used for terrorism, it might just be true for these people knows how to use technology to hide what they are doing.

The human rights in Belarus? Read the news! The human rights in HK? Not so much from what I've seen.
If you think it has done so, how it has managed to achieve it? By people getting helped to buy food? Nice and money transfers from the ones willing to help to those that need were indeed made easier via btc,  but that's not protecting human rights, it's helping people survive.

As I said it before, stop treating it as a self-conscious entity and more like the tool that it is.

Totally agree. Bitcoin after all is just a tool of humans, no more no less. In order to protect human rights, only humans themselves are responsible for doing such big noble things, and they use bitcoin for progress.

Personally, even our world has such innovations, the current situation remains unchanged, or only minimum efforts are made to make the world a better place. We still have racism, human rights collapse, shitty politics, protest for liberty, civil wars in Africa. We are taught and trained to become a part of big labor forces and people keep saying it is a privilege to have a job, to manufacture products, and serve the whole world. Nevertheless, they never or only have a slight mention about morality. Money is dignified in this modern world driving people crazy, make their vision obscure, and turn their hearts into cold ices

If you take Bitcoin the word as a placeholder for the whole revolutionary movement, I believe that Bitcoin can indeed play a role in making the poor become richer. The technology can solve coordination problems across boarders. Take an African guy who has great programming skills. How would you pay him when he would like to help out at even favorable wages? You could set up smart contracts and use pay per milestone agreements. There are many examples that Bitcoin could help solve coordination problems and cooperation barriers.

But along with this freedom given by Bitcoin people who have malicious intent are also using this for their own benefits like using it on money laundering and such that is why the government is very concerned about it. Due to Bitcoins decentralization, we can choose whatever we want to do with it without being tracked by authorities but we must not abuse this anonymity that is why some countries having a second thought of accepting it. Anyway, it's just a piece of advice but I hope we use Bitcoin in a way that could not harm others.

That is pretty cool. With bitcoins we have the chance to help a lot of different people all around the world. Especially if we can help protests and people who are being targeted by the government, we have a way to give money without the chance of the officials to intercept that money. Financial institutions such as western union or paypal are controlled by the government. We need to use crypto currencies to go around such limitations.

Banks have the power to suppress movements or even cut ties with donators with just a few buttons. I think it happened to Wikipedia as well. Bitcoin is a way to organize and donate without any interference from the powerful banking system. That's why the importance of a digital currency that is fully decentralized should and must not be underestimated ever.

There is no correspondence between bitcoin and the human rights. The only thing I see is that human becomes greedier and more dreaming than ever. They believe that they can be rich in a short amount of time and forget how other people are suffering in pain and loss. In Myanmar, army has taken over the government and shoot at protesters. I am full on support of bitcoin and a total maximalist and I believe human rights are not something you have to take as a whole, we are talking about certain parts of human rights, and bitcoin did improved on some failures of fiat currency and made it decentralized so I would say it did protect certain parts of human rights if you ask me.

Yes, this is exactly what I was saying. Bitcoin was not invented to protect human rights or achieve any other noble goal people assign to it. It was just an experiment in immutable digital currency that has arguably become far larger than anyone in the early days ever though it would, or those early pioneers would have held their stacks of bitcoin. The maximalists trying to paint it as the savior of humanity are ridiculous.

How do you know the early pioneers don't have their coins anymore or are you talking about Satoshi's wallets? If you are talking about other wallets and you as a pioneer prefer to pretend you don't hold as much anymore, you could just go to an exchange and get rid of any traces leading to you.
