Silk Road is back and aiming to become the freest market in existence.But one thing changed. Silk Road is now a DAO. What does that mean? Well, for one it means the Silk Road will be governed by the community. $SILK holders will be able to issue and vote on proposals to evolve the market.
Second, it means that the community will receive a profit share of the accumulated fees. 50% of all market fees will be distributed to $SILK stakers on a weekly basis.
Third, it means that Silk Road is now a dAapp running on the blockchain, to be completely censorship resistant. Similar to a DEX the Silk Road market will run on Ethereum. The dApp Market is set to go live on 30th September.
