The scheme is as follows. There is a main account, RainbowKun, which earns merits and distributes it to its alts.
I highly doubt that. RainbowKun makes decent posts and I see no reason for him to create an army of shitposters.
He did however Merit a few people who were congratulating him on his achievements, and right after that many Newbies made a similar post to get Merited. My guess is RainbowKun had no idea they were only posting for Merit, and he fell for it.
